About Bertie: I started learning and performing music at the age of 2 and have performed in 100s of concerts, playing over 200 gigs in 2013 alone. These include performances for celebrities and royalty, playing cello for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Phillip, as well as singing for HRH Price Charles and performing for the England rugby team. I studied cello under James Halsey from the Royal College of Music and Music (BMus Hons) at The University of Huddersfield, studying conducting under award winning conductor Natalia Luis-Bassa and composition and performance under world renowned pianist Dr. Philip Thomas. I have toured all over the UK and Europe, and have headlined some prestigious venues including; The NEC (Birmingham,) Aintree Racecourse and The Cavern Club (Liverpool,) as well as playing with some highly regarded ensembles including The Orchestra of The Swan as the soloist for their Snowman tour. After university I founded and ran my own record label and recording studio, started the world’s first ‘Bandeoke’ band and have taught 100s of pupils in groups and 1-1 lessons. I offers instrumental lessons from beginner to grade 8 in; guitar, voice, cello, bass guitar and double bass, and from beginner to grade 5 in; piano/keyboard, violin, drums, ukulele and music theory. I am a trained opera singer, studying under Chris Booth-Jones from the Royal Academy of Music, and have performed in many musicals and stage productions, taking the lead roles in; Oliver, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and Oklahoma. I have taught at many schools and colleges, starting my own courses and leading string groups, orchestras, choirs, theory groups and bands. When I'm not teaching or gigging I work with musicians from all over the world as a freelance recording artist/session musician/composer/arranger/producer and technician.

I’m Filip, a cellist and teacher based in Basel. I hold a Master of Performance from Hochshule der Künste Bern and started a Master of Pedagogy at Musik Akademie Basel. I’ve played regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin, Berner Symfonieorchester, Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, and several others. I’ve worked for 5 years as a private cello teacher with students of different ages and skill levels. Sara Strozzo is an accomplished Italian cellist with a rich background in music performance and education. She began her journey at the Conservatory "Agostino Steffani" in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy, where she laid the foundation for her musical career. Sara further honed her skills in New York City, earning a Master's degree in Cello Performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music, studying under the esteemed Professor Marcy Rosen. Throughout her career, Sara has performed in stages across Europe and America. She has had the privilege of attending masterclasses with prominent figures in the classical music world, including Natalia Gutman, Julius Berger, Giovanni Gnocchi, and Anna Serova, which enriched her musical insights and techniques. As the first chair of the "Crescere in Musica'' orchestra, Sara has participated in three tours to Prague, Lithuania, and Austria, where she has performed a diverse repertoire ranging from classical to baroque music. Additionally, Sara is a founding member of the Alegria Ensemble, alongside violinist Chloë Dickens and pianist Ricky Moreira. This piano trio is dedicated to performing both classical masterpieces and contemporary works, contributing to the vibrancy of chamber music repertoire. Sara has been teaching in person and online for the past 20 years and has helped many students get high scores in exams like Nyssma and ABRSM.
