Well, I am very passionate about music, it has been part of my life for a very long time. I am teaching music to my students in a classroom, so why not to do it online? I have experience in online teaching for 7 years, up to now, I have been teaching Music theory with practical usage of instruments (guitar, bass, piano and percussions) online too. I have my own curriculum, so I can adjust it according to the students' needs. My music experience is a very rich one. I used to play in many bands over the time, I have a professional career as a guitar player in Theatres orchestra. I have opened concerts for some famous music stars. I am a patient and hardworking, responsible teacher. I will do my best in every class, because teacher responsibility is not just to teach, teacher power lies in attitude and ground principles which all well educated teachers know how to use to better stand for the student. You will also find that in teaching it’s good when you have some of this characteristics: Setting out goals and priorities, good at teamwork, exceptional organizational skills, excellent problem-solving skills, resourceful, persistent, reliable, communicative, ambitious, confident, encouraging, fair and more to find out. I received my B.Mus. Degree in 2011 from University of Aberdeen. My M.Mus. Research was focused on Music Therapy and I was awarded the degree in 2013. Diploma in Education from North-West university (NWU), South Africa. I have a Grade 8 Certificate in Music Theory from Trinity College London. and I am currently preparing for my Licentiate from the same institute. I am a musician and music teacher with over 15 years experience, and am passionate about sharing the joy of music via lessons tailored to my students individual needs! I offer creative, dynamic and energetic teaching, with a student-focused outlook. About me: Having learned violin from the age of 7 and with a degree in Popular and World Musics (Leeds University) and an MA in Composition for Film & TV (Bristol University), I have a solid grounding in musical theory and substantial experience of both teaching, performing, composing and recording. I tailor lessons to the needs of individual students. I am experienced in teaching both adults and children. Specialising in helping my students to build confidence in their playing and learning, and with that showing them how the learning process can be enjoyed. For adults, I offer friendly and fun lessons tailored to the desires and needs of the student. For children, I specialises in engaging beginner children in a range of instruments and helping them concentrate, enjoy the learning process and feel the enthusiasm and joy that music brings. I come from a classical background but most of my real world experience is in rock and pop. I attended Goldsmiths University London where I specialised in jazz performance, music tech and musical composition and I have toured extensively with both originals bands and function bands including performing on a cruise around the U.K. I spent the last 3 years working with Just Play music school in London where I lead ensembles and one on one lessons both in person and online. I’m a committed, patient and enthusiastic educator and I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and adults from a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.

I have been teaching private lessons since I was in high school. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2018 with a degree in Music Education. I have been playing piano since the age of five, studying voice since the age of seven and guitar since I was eleven. I have worked in a variety of group and private settings. I have studied Jazz, Classical and Contemporary techniques on all three of my main instruments and focuses on wellness integration while teaching.

I studied at the Elder conservatorium of music where I completed a Bachelor of music performance with a jazz guitar major, I have also taught violin for a number of years up to AMEB grade 3. My students have consistently competed in eisteddfods and have usually placed. I am currently studying a master of teaching through Curtin University and have worked within the department for education in South Australia as an instrumental music teacher, I have my working with children check in QLD (blue card) and South Australia, mandatory reporting and an authority to teach instrumental music form the teacher registration board. I teach both jazz and classical because both offer the student different things in terms of technique, improvisation, aural ability and application of music theory and analysis. I teach AMEB theory, AMEB classical guitar and AMEB violin and incorporate curriculum from Mel Bay; Turner and White and the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Reporting Authority (ACARA) when helping students with school based music learning. I use a flexible and adapted guitar method specially built for children starting at the age of six years old and beginners from scratch all ages. It has a classical background and attends the beginner as the intermediate level student too. The lessons primarily follow the student's need and interest, age and experience. In the repertoire are included Carulli, Sor, Bach, Villa-Lobos, Spanish pieces, songs in English and Latin songs. My lessons are also focused on playing guitar and singing at the same time which is fun when it's done naturally and with joy... So let's sing and start play "La Bamba" folks!

I have designed a learning programme suitable for a wide variety of music needs and aims. I have a long experience teaching, performing, recording and producing music that have let me explore melodic instruments like keyboards, guitar, and bass. It has given to me a broad musical approach to the drums with a ensemble situation perspective. I'm a Music teacher from Costa Rica. I've been playing for 16 years, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and also an Associate's Degree in Guitar Performing, both from the University of Costa Rica, those are basically my two main passions as a professional. As I teacher I believe in the idea of students having a healthy relationship with music while at the same time making great progress. I implement this in my classes by combining modern teaching techniques with updated instrument theory, while always taking the student's specific need and interests into consideration.

Experienced choir conductor, professor of music theory and history with extensive experience working with students of all ages (from 8 to 68 years old), mentor of school rock bands, vocal groups, solo singers, and solo instrumentalists (guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards ). Also, continuously for two decades, I have taught private lessons in classical and electric rock/jazz guitar (from beginners to professionals), classical piano, harmony, polyphony, conducting to students of all ages. Part of the results of my work are many awards at international and national choir competitions, as well as national competitions for rock bands. I have a Master's degree in choral conducting, special training in opera and symphony conducting, and a Bachelor's in music theory, pedagogue, and choral conductor.
