My name is Alessandro Giovanetto, i am an Italian musician and guitarist. I have been playing guitar for 20 years, and i am in the music business for about 5 years. I studied music in London, where i got a bachelor Degree from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, and privately with people like Phil Capone, Hugh Burns, Martin Goulding, Tolis Zavaliaris, Lee Hodgson and many others. In the last 7 years i have been touring and recording around the world with the artist Theodore. Some of the places where i recorded include Abbey Road Studios, Church Studios (London), Clouds Hill studios (Hamburg), and i played on stages around Europe, Canada, U.S.A. I have skills in guitar performance, Theory, arranging, composition in different style of music such as Jazz, Classical and Pop (Reggae, Funk, R&B, Metal, Fusion, Blues etc.) My objective is to teach you how to play and experience music in the purest form and to be as creative as possible.

Classical Piano

I attended the Royal College of Music in London, where I was a Foundation Scholar, Major Prize-Winner and Junior Fellow. Upon graduating, I won the RCM's most prestigious award, the Tagore Medal, which was presented to me by HRH the Prince of Wales. At the personal request of Prince Charles, I have performed twice at Sandringham House. I have appeared on BBC Television, BBC Radio and Classic FM and performed at the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall and the Queen Elizabeth Hall. I have toured extensively with internationally renowned flautist, Susan Milan including concerts in the United States, Australia and South Korea. In 1998 I was the pianist for Mike Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells 3' performed at the Horse Guards Parade in London.​In July 2018, I performed Mozart's 'Piano Concerto in A' at St Martin In the Fields and was also the solo pianist for 'Evanescence Synthesis Live Tour 2018' with performances at the Royal Festival Hall & Eventim Apollo, London. At the same time, I was the pianist for the Brian Friel play the 'Aristocrats' at the Donmar Warehouse, London.​In September 2019 I performed Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' as the soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra on board the QM2 travelling from New York to Southampton. It was so well received, I have been invited to repeat the occasion again on the return trip later this year.​I have played keyboard in many West End musicals including, 'Grease', 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Crazy for You', 'Whistle down the Wind', 'My Fair Lady', ‘Miss Saigon’, Ingmar Bergman ‘Fanny & Alexander’ at the Old Vic and 'Pinocchio' at the National Theatre. I am currently depping on ‘Matilda the Musical' at the Cambridge Theatre, London and 'Mamma Mia!' at the Novello Theatre, London. I was the pianist for Tori Amos' musical 'The Light Princess' at the National Theatre in London. I then recorded the cast album, released in November 2015. My most recent orchestral work has been with the RPCO, National Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and with the London Concert Orchestra accompanying Katherine Jenkins on keyboard on her 2019 'Guided Light' tour. As well as my busy performance schedule, I am a very dedicated and passionate music teacher. I have been working at a local prep school for over 14 years.

Can work through ABRSM grades 1 - 8 or Learn to play for pleasure. Lessons include both theory and practical tuition. Help with GCSE and A-Level music also available. Students of all ages welcome. I have been a guest judge a music festivals in and around Europe and UK, was a quarter finalist for the televised Cyprus Eurovision national selection process and was a finalist at the Carpathia International songwriters festival. PLEASE NOTE the minimum age for SINGERS I teach is 15/16 years of age. I do not teach singing to children i'm afraid.

Passionate Singing, Guitar and Piano Teacher. I graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Jazz voice studies and prior to that studied Rock and Pop performance in Vocaltech in London. I have a wide range of knowledge and experience from running group singing to one-to-one tuition. I tailor my approach to each student individually and therefore work with people of all ages and experience levels. My focus with students is on vocal technique across genres including Musical Theatre, Rock, Pop, and Folk, Jazz. I’m very passionate about songwriting and composition and working with text to deliver a heartfelt performances and connect to the text. I do regular performances(cafe jazz, corporate events, flute and tankard) in Wales and outside of dragon land, which provides me with a great performance knowledge. I play guitar and piano so the lessons can be accompanied by me or we can use backing track. I do believe that everybody can learn the principals of singing. It’s a free of judgement area- let’s have some fun and learn about our instruments.

Emily Shapiro is a bass clarinet and clarinet player dedicated to exploring and creating new music. Originally from Canada, Emily pursued her studies across the country, at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Academy of Music, Concordia University and the Domaine Forget academy. She has had many incredible teachers, most notably Lori Freedman in Montreal. Emily has a special love for the sound and scope of bass instruments and constantly pushes the limits of what she can do on bass clarinet. Alongside performing contemporary music on bass clarinet, Emily is involved in many other musical endeavours. Composing and improvising are central to her career, and she has been an active performer of Balinese gamelan for 10 years and has also explored jazz and electroacoustics. She is always seeking out new artistic experiences to enrich and motivate her work. She is a proud member of Duo Arasari, the London Improviser's Orchestra, the Corner Quartet and Lila Cita and has performed all over London, including iklectik, Café Oto, Hundred Years Gallery, LSO St Luke’s, the Vaults festival, the Barbican and many more. Outside of music, Emily loves gardening, running, cooking and making friends with animals.

I teach anyone from beginners through to emerging artists and professionals about using their voice, taking a holistic approach that recognises you as an individual, tailoring lessons to suit exactly what you need in terms of support for your technical and musical growth. Whilst I have 20 years one-to-one teaching experience, I am also a jazz vocalist and singer/songwriter and have performed my original music at countless headline shows on some of the biggest stages around the world with my own band and solo, self-accompanying on the piano and guitar. I have released 4 critically acclaimed albums as a bandleader and have appeared on many other releases as a guest vocalist. I have Grade 8 ABRSM Classical piano. Exams aren't appropriate for everyone but in case that is something you are interested in, I have entered many students for exams in Voice (ABRSM/Trinity) at all levels with great results.

Being a professional pianist as well as teacher, I regularly perform across the UK and Europe in a variety of contexts. Are you completely new to the piano? My aim as your teacher will be to find out about you and tailor a programme of learning to suit your needs and goals. I have experience guiding students through syllabuses, such as ABRSM classical, ABRSM jazz, Trinity Laban, and Rockschool.

I have been teaching piano, voice and guitar for many years alongside my positions as Director of Music and Head of Arts in schools in South Africa, Oman, Germany and Austria. I recently married and moved to Dublin where I have been teaching Music Theory, Piano and Voice. I am a choral conductor and adjudicator and my choir from South Africa were World Champions in Folklore art the World Choir Games in 2000 and 2004 among many other International accolades. I am proficient in television performances and organising large scale concerts and performances. I have a passion for developing the best out of my students and seeing them develop into excellent musicians and performers.
