My name is Louise and I am a qualified music teacher (PGCE in Secondary Music), have a degree in Music Composition (2:1.), Grade 8 Piano, Grade 3 Flute and approximately Grade 6 Vocals. I am also an active musician. I began to learn the piano when I was 7 Years old, I also learnt flute at school and was part of the school wind band and orchestra, plus I have enjoyed singing from an early age. I have been teaching music since 2006. I teach piano, keyboards, vocals and have also taught curriculum music, plus fife and basic steel pans. I teach individuals, small groups and whole classes. Each year I organise performance opportunities for students to showcase their skills in front of the school or at a venues around the city. I am also happy to support students in taking exams if they wish. I have directed a school choir, where I organised numerous school concerts and accompanied vocalists on the piano. I have had experience of teaching Reception, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and Adults, plus I have supported GCSE/BTEC music students. Additionally, I have worked for Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) in Warwick and Rugby, where I taught vocals to large groups of students, plus individuals. When I’m not teaching I enjoy playing and singing jazz and latin music, I can also play classical music. Additionally I attend music workshops and professional development courses relevant to my work. I play keyboards and sing lead and backing vocals for 2 bands. I love to play, teach music and share my knowledge and passion for an art form that can bring so much fulfillment in life.

Archie Combe is a pianist, composer and singer based in London. Classically trained and inspired by jazz pianist Bill Evans/ Herbie Hancock, Archie has performed at the National Theatre and performed with Bill Laurance as part of his UK tour. Archie has released an EP 'Sun' and has composed a short musical film called 'Road to Dad's.' Alongside his busy performing life, Archie is also an accomplished accompanist and teacher.

I am a lively and enthusiastic piano teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching piano to all ages and levels with a special interest in intermediate to advanced-level teaching. At the age of 16 I was named a Fulbright Scholar and moved to the US where I trained as a classical pianist at Lawrence Conservatory of Music. I then completed my Masters in London at Trinity College of Music (now Trinity Laban) as their Beverly Creed and Alfred Kitchin Scholar. I have performed throughout Europe and the UK as a soloist and a chamber musician. I was a part of Con Fuoco piano duo and the Larkhall Trio with whom I toured the UK. During my studies, I developed a deep interest in the art of piano teaching. I have been teaching individual piano lessons privately and for the Bromley Youth Music Trust for the last decade. I take great pride in the development of my students. I am also an extravert who enjoys meeting and getting to know new people, which makes me enjoy teaching piano even more!

I currently work as a professional musician, performing/recording violin and piano for various ensembles and different styles on a regular basis including various musicals and operas, such as lead violinist for UK premier of Little Women the Musical, the premier of The Clockmaker's Daughter at The Landor, The Ace of Clubs, Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hansel & Gretal. I have performed as leader of 2nd violin for the Orion Orchestra and leader of the Huddersfield Philharmonic as well as working with artists including Broadcast 2000, Josh Groban, Ed Sheeran and Rick Wakeman. As well as my performance experience, I have previously worked as a piano, violin and cello teacher at a number of music academies and schools, as well as instrumental teaching, I have also worked as in-house piano accompanist for instrumental exams, choir and orchestral/ensemble rehearsals and school shows/concerts. I also work as musical director and music facilitator for Trinity Theatre and run community singing sessions in Tunbridge Wells and currently run music & baby sensory sessions for ages 0-5 years where as well as singing to the children and their carers I would also give an instrumental demonstration.

Im a spanish pianist with more than 10 years of experience teaching students. I did my master in performance at Royal College of Music (London), one of the best schools in the world to study music, thanks to a scholarship that the school gave me and I was lucky to have the possibility to work with 2 teachers at the same time during my 2 years master, Ashley Wass and Sofya Gulyak. During my time in Barcelona, where I obtained my degree with honor prize in the specialty of piano, I worked with Pierre Reach, considered one of the best performers of Goldberg Variations (Bach). I can say now that I have the French and the Russian school in my fingers, 2 of the most famous methods to teach and learn piano. I am a passionate teacher willing to transmit to my students the fantastic world of the music. Piano is a way of communication which allows you to develop feelings you could have never imagined and speak a wonderful language to communicate with your soul and heart.

I am an experienced flautist, violinist, viola player and performer currently in my 4th year studying classical music at Edinburgh Napier university and can teach up to Grade 8 standard flute and grade 5/6 on violin, piano and viola. I am happy to work with any age range and can teach groups if this suits you better. I can also instruct in music theory up to grade 5 alongside regular instrumental lessons, and Instruct in beginner/ intermediate keyboard skills. Hours can be flexible around your personal schedule, and can be changed week to week if need be. I can also provide sheet music so you can practice at home. My experience playing includes being a part of various orchestras, performing with a string quartet, being in a ceilidh band and a variety of solo performances, so I can cover many different styles of music and adapt to what you want to learn. My experience in teaching includes leading music groups at a school, instructing sections of an orchestra, and teaching flute, violin, piano and viola regularly for 3 years.
