I am highly experienced with teaching from beginning to highly advanced level. I have strong passion toward teaching, and I can help you for having great skills for playing piano.

Katrina Fox BSc (Hons), MA(Ed), DipABRSM (Disctinction) I have been teaching the piano for over 20 years and I have grown to love it more with each passing year. I remain committed to continuing to learn about new and exciting ways to teach.​As well as enjoying working with beginners and adults, I am passionate about helping intermediate and advanced students who may have reached a "slump" in their piano journey, to find new ways of connecting with music and revitalise their love for the piano.

Hi, my name is Oscar and I have been teaching the Violin and Piano for 5 years, whilst also being a regular performer in Orchestra's, bands, String ensembles and as a soloist. I currently only teach in English, despite living in Berlin, but I hope to be able to offer lessons in German soon. I studied Violin performance at the Royal Northern College of music, and my qualifications include both a Bachelors degree and a Licentiate of Music. Whilst my musical upbringing and education was largely classical, I have developed a strong interest in multiple other genres of music. I run a Gypsy Jazz collective, and regularly play with both a Klezmer band and multiple different Celtic folk groups. This has given me a lot of insight into different styles of both learning and teaching, and it has meant that I feel confident providing students with lessons in improvisation and lessons learning by ear, as opposed to just from sheet music. My students range from age 4-70 and I teach people of all ages and abilities. The challenges that go with catering for different stylistic preferences keep my job interesting, fresh and engaging, and I really enjoy watching my students progress and find their voice. I don't have a one size fits all teaching approach, and I find that students stay engaged when they are able to pursue their specific interests. B.A graduation with with honours achieved at "Conservatorio di musica Alessandro Scarlatti, Palermo". I taught classical piano at "K. Szymanoski" music academy of Wroclaw, Poland during 2018/2019. I give classical piano lessons aimed to achieve solid and professional skills to everyone who wants to start. Every student is different from others so my work is based on the single student.

I am a pianist, composer, and musicologist originally from California and residing in The Netherlands. I hold a Master of Music in Composition from Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg, a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Musicology from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Arts double major in Music (piano performance and musicology) and Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. During this time, I studied with Richard Taruskin and Nicholas Mathew, among others. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I studied for two years privately with prominent Bay Area pianist, Diane Hidy. I currently play piano in the contemporary music trio No Piece of Wood, with Sjors van der Mark on electric guitar and Hanna van Rooijen, soprano. With this trio, I perform, among other contemporary repertoire, my own music. In addition to composing for my own ensemble, I have composed for soloists Ralph van Raat, Vincent van Amsterdam, Niek Baar, Maya Fridman, and Tom Sanderman, among others. I have also composed pieces for the Merced Symphony Orchestra in California, the Euregio Jeugdorkest, November Music Festival, the Nationale Opera Studio, and the Opera Forward Festival (2020) in Amsterdam. In May 2020, I initiated the project Music for Empty Spaces, in which 12 composers (including myself) wrote 12 pieces for 12 solo musicians, all reflecting on the corona crisis. The event was live-streamed by NPO Radio 4 from an empty Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam. While at UC Berkeley, I studied piano with Jacqueline Chew and Debora Petrina. I also spent a year in a full-immersion Italian language study abroad program at L’Universita’ degli studi di Padova, in Padua, Italy. I have participated in masterclasses with prominent fortepianists Malcolm Bilson, Bart van Oort, and Geoffrey Govier, as well as with leading modern piano accompanist Malcolm Martineau. In 2014, I participated in a summer chamber music workshop at La Schola Cantorum in Paris. While there, I participated in masterclasses with Henri Gronnier, Simone Dinnerstein, and Roy Howat.

I have a bachelor's degree in music, specializing in keyboard instruments and music technology. I possess in-depth knowledge of music theory and -history. Furthermore, I have a PhD degree in Education, with more than ten years' teaching experience. In my free time, I compose, produce and distribute my own music, available on most music platforms (Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify etc.) under the artist name of Ed Campbell. People describe me as an uplifting, patient and enthusiastic teacher.

I’m Selin Asar, an experienced and trained musician teaching voice and piano lessons for over seven years now. It doesn’t matter how young you are. I’ve worked with people of all ages (from 6 - 60 years old) and the age has never been a problem when it comes to learning. So long as you're passionate to learn, I’ll help you every step of the way. I studied in the opera-choir department of Ankara University State Conservatory. After graduating with an honours degree in the opera department, I continued my education to be a teacher. It allowed me to work at various art schools and improve my skills in teaching voice and piano lessons. I realised I need to get even better if I want to change people’s lives and improve the education system so I embarked on a master’s programme at Necmettin Erbakan University, Department of Educational Sciences. The best part of that is I qualified for the Erasmus+ Internship Program here in the UK. I’ve been teaching here for over 2 years, highly adapted multi-cultural education approaches. I’m keen on following well-thought-out lesson plans, developing authentic teaching materials and activities. I teach through visuals, games, songs, chants. And I incorporate real-world materials and technology in my lessons. I believe that as a teacher I must also keep on learning and improving myself. A classically trained cellist and composer with a Masters in Music from the Royal Academy of Music in cello, and an ARSM post-grade 8 diploma in piano, I have been performing professionally and teaching in a variety of settings for over 15 years. My pupils have ranged from the ages of 5 to 65 as private pupils, and in primary, secondary and private schools, at music centres and junior conservatoire. I take pupils from beginner to advanced through the ABRSM exam syllabus with a range of activities to focus on rhythm, pitch, aural and musicianship alongside the technical and musical skills of either instrument. I pride myself on being able to adapt to each pupil's learning style and support areas needing more help, and to bring a wide knowledge and set of skills to encourage each pupil to find their musical voice. My own performing experience varies from playing at the Royal Opera House with the orchestra of Sir Elton John, to solo music for weddings and events across London and the south, cello quartet performances at prestigious venues such as the House of Commons, the V&A and Westminster Abbey, to studio and remote recordings for artists, and my own published production music used by the BBC and Sky.
