I believe that voice is a reflection of our inner world and that singing is a healthy outlet for expressing emotions. My approach to singing is somewhat athletic, utilizing the whole body and making my students a little bit stronger and healthier along the way. I use physical activities which activate the breathing mechanism and choose repertoire that is age and level appropriate and appeals to the student. In piano lessons I use a combination of innovative and standard approach and include a little bit of theory and keyboard harmony in every lesson to enhance the learning process. I try to make learning music fun and informative at the same time while helping my students cultivate the ability to express themselves in an authentic manner.
