Hi, I love drums, I have been drumming since the age of 7. I have gigged all over the UK. Toured Denmark, Holland, Germany. Played US bases in Turkey, jammed on Bourbon St, New Orleans. Had residencies in Malta and Australia. Recorded for RCA on hit records in Denmark, Holland, South Africa and Germany. I am a professional tutor and musician. I have taught many students over the years, I currently have over 20 students of varying ages and abilities. I use Rockschool, Trinity Music, MTB, The Percussive Societies 40 Drum Rudiments and tailor the lessons to suit the students by writing excercises to help them develop. Most important is to make the lessons fun. When students master a piece which has been proving difficult, or pass an exam it gives me a buzz and makes my job worthwhile. I play in a rock/pop band three nights per week so keep up to date with current trends. My last three students to take exams were Joe - Rockschool Grade 5 Distinction, George - Rockschool Grade 5 Merit and Anna Rockschool Grade 3 Merit.

My name's Serban, and I'm a professional drummer/percussionist with 32 years experience performing live in rock and symphonic orchestras. My qualifications, teaching experience, passion and long standing dedication to this wonderful instrument hold me in good stead. I started learning and playing music at 6 years age, as a pianist. I am a friendly and professional music teacher who loves helping others experience the joy of music.

I have been a drum and trumpet tutor to students in primary school, secondary school, right through to retirees looking for a new (or to rekindle their old) passion for music. I have a wide playing experience from classical ensembles, orchestras, cuban big bands, jazz bands, ska bands, pop bands, tribute bands and klezmer bands along with my work as a studio session musician and of course an instrumental tutor. I am currently the peripatetic drum tutor at two large secondary schools alongside my private roster (totalling around 60 one-to-one lessons per week). I also teach via video conference call online to those whose location makes travelling impractical. Currently due to the current coronavirus situation I am teaching all 60+ lessons online via the zoom platform. *TRUMPET*: I teach the trumpet as an instrument not a genre; much of the technique I pass over is based in the classical style as I find this creates players who can perform with ease but I also teach my pupils to improvise, to play from memory, music theory and even some composition while they master the instrument itself. Smiles and enjoyment are at the top of the list for music, after all, that is the point right? I find this produces well rounded AND MOTIVATED players who can apply themselves to almost any situation. This holistic style of education encompasses all styles, not just classical pieces - so if you are interested in something specific just let me know! Starting with a solid technical routine my students build up their skills in directions which interest them. *DRUMS*: As a drum tutor I present a rather different set of ideas, still based in good solid technique and theory but much more based in popular music; I do not teach classical percussion as I am not myself a classical percussionist. I draw from my extensive background in band playing and show work (musicals, tributes) to initially provide students with the select tools they need to get out playing with other musicians; we then work on deepening their knowledge and expending their tools to tackle much more interesting yet taxing opportunities. Much of the work that will need to be completed between lessons can be done on a practice pad though access to a drum kit will be needed in some shape or form, especially if the pupil is to remain engaged and driven (be this acoustic or electric). *GENERAL*: Over the years my interest in the challenges of playing have lead me to investigate very thoroughly the techniques and physical difficulties of playing the instruments which are numerous yet solvable when approached in an informed and calm manner. *QUALIFICATIONS*: Ba(hons) Music 2:1 (1st class in performance modules), ABRSM Grade 8 (Merit) Trumpet, ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory

I have been working closely with producers, songwriters, record labels and musicians since 2013. I am currently signed to B-Unique Records (UK), Harvest/Capitol (US), Tôt ou Tard (FR) and Sony (AU). Recently, I have been involved in soundtrack productions for audio visual projects. I also have worked extensively with songwriters, co-producing extensive bodies of work, always aiming to combine an artist’s best abilities into one concise piece of music.

I'm an experienced, organised, dedicated, session musician and drum tutor. I've worked with a diverse set of artists in the recording studio, concerts, festivals and music venues. These include Jazz Jamaica, Dylema Collective, Das Brass Band, Nikkita, Aiva, Mabel Agbenorto, Terry Smiles Collective, C.A.M.P Choir, WTW Big Band, Jay Phelps, Spirit Agenda, Myke Masters Band, Mike Soul, Cliff and Marie, Cherise Adams Burnett, Rio Kai Quartet, Floor Rippers, Alan Weekes Trio, Tomorrow's Warriors, Morley College Big Band and many other gospel, jazz and r & b artists. I deliver an extensive genre of drum lessons at 3 secondary schools and percussion workshops also at WAC Arts. Music Degree successfully completed in 2011 at London Centre of Contemporary Music. His drum teachers included Rod Youngs, Troy Miller, Andrew Small, Steve Brown, Graham Fox, Courtney Daniels. Daniel is highly recommended as a professional Drum Tutor, Session Musician and Percussion Tutor.

I have been a professional musician for over twenty years. Saxophone and clarinet are my primary instruments but I also perform regularly on bass, and occasionally play drums and piano. I also sing regularly with one of my bands. I've been teaching for over twenty years, in schools, colleges, universtities and with my band Soothsayers leading workshops for young people in the South London area or Brixton.

My name is Alan Mian and I'm a professional Bassist, percussionist, drummer from the UK with over 20 years playing/teaching experience. Specialising soul, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Fusion. I hold a BMus Hons music degree and a PTTLLS teaching qualification. Subjects covered (amongst others)... Music Theory, Instrumental technique, sight reading, time keeping, groove and genre studies.

I am a freelance drummer and latin percussionist who has been studying the drums for 10 years. I have been fortunate to study under some of the greatest session drummers in the world - Elliott Henshaw, Ralph Salmins and John McDermott. I gained a scholarship to study at the Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide, Australia where I studied a Bmus - Jazz Performance Degree. I have been teaching all ages and abilities for 3 years covering everything from Jazz (Big Band, Small Group, contemporary) to Funk, Fusion, Latin, Brazilian, Pop and Rock. I also teach the Trinity Exam syllabus and have a 100% distinction rate in that. My performance experience includes: Ultimate Buble Tour; Jersey Boys - Walk Like a Man; The Adelaide Uni Latin Ensemble (2 tours), The Adelaide Uni Big Band, SuperBand 1; Julian Ferraretto; John Wheatcroft, Dusty Cox, Derek Pascoe, Luke Stevenson (EP); Grace - A Jeff Buckley Tribute (Adelaide Fringe) Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen (Adelaide Fringe) etc. My drum tech experience includes: Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and Gregg Potter with the Buddy Rich Big Band; and Elliott Henshaw with Tony Christie and Spice Fusion.

Hello! My name is Roberto, I am a Drummer, Producer and Graphic Designer based in London, UK. I started to play drums when I was 14 and producing music when I was 18. After achieving an art diploma in Milan in 2012 I studied Design at IED Milano, graduating in 2015 with a first degree. After working in a design studio for one year I moved to London in 2016 in order to study Music, successfully obtaining my BA in Creative Musicianship in 2019. Since my degree, I've been working as a session drummer both for recording and live performances. I am also producing music for different artists, focusing on Pop, Folk, Rock, and Metal.

My name is Jack and I am a music graduate (BA hons Popular music studies) with an enormous enthusiasm for listening, learning, teaching and performing music. I have 20 years performance experience and I currently perform throughout the UK with a variety of Percussion groups, original and function bands. Alongside performing I have 10+ years experience of teaching the Drum set, from the beginner hobbyist to the advanced music student. All my lessons are tailored to individual needs and I aim to provide a fun programme of lessons to increase any player’s confidence and ability. I have a multi-sensory approach to teaching (Visual, Auditory, Read/write, Kinaesthetic) as I am a Dyslexic musician myself. I have found this to be successful for students without learning difficulties also. I am also fully CRB checked. I’m a freelancer with more than 5 years of experience in the music industry and throughout the years I’ve covered different roles and positions within the music fields; this ranges from being a session musician in various locations in the U.K, to individual and ensemble music teacher for drums and music theory.

Classical trained musician based in London, I was born in a family of artists from music teacher father and singer mother. I've been introduced to music at the very early age of 6 studying violin and, later on, piano as the second instrument to finally land, after several years, into drums and percussion. After accomplishing a Higher Diploma in Music Performance at the "Institute Of Contemporary Music and Performance" in London and a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree in Creative Music Performance at DIME Online "Detroit Institute of Music Education", I've had the chance to be working with great artists such as Sean Taylor, Wily Bo Walker and recently performing with the very famous Iranian singer Mansour on a TV Show here in London. The list of the master teachers I've had the change to study with features names like Gabor Dornyei, Paul Elliott, Mike Sturgis, Pete Riley, Fergus Gerrand, Chuck Sabo and Justin Scott.
