About Bertie: I started learning and performing music at the age of 2 and have performed in 100s of concerts, playing over 200 gigs in 2013 alone. These include performances for celebrities and royalty, playing cello for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Phillip, as well as singing for HRH Price Charles and performing for the England rugby team. I studied cello under James Halsey from the Royal College of Music and Music (BMus Hons) at The University of Huddersfield, studying conducting under award winning conductor Natalia Luis-Bassa and composition and performance under world renowned pianist Dr. Philip Thomas. I have toured all over the UK and Europe, and have headlined some prestigious venues including; The NEC (Birmingham,) Aintree Racecourse and The Cavern Club (Liverpool,) as well as playing with some highly regarded ensembles including The Orchestra of The Swan as the soloist for their Snowman tour. After university I founded and ran my own record label and recording studio, started the world’s first ‘Bandeoke’ band and have taught 100s of pupils in groups and 1-1 lessons.  I offers instrumental lessons from beginner to grade 8 in; guitar, voice, cello, bass guitar and double bass, and from beginner to grade 5 in; piano/keyboard, violin, drums, ukulele and music theory. I am a trained opera singer, studying under Chris Booth-Jones from the Royal Academy of Music, and have performed in many musicals and stage productions, taking the lead roles in; Oliver, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and Oklahoma. I have taught at many schools and colleges, starting my own courses and leading string groups, orchestras, choirs, theory groups and bands.   When I'm not teaching or gigging I work with musicians from all over the world as a freelance recording artist/session musician/composer/arranger/producer and technician.

I'm a drumming and guitar teacher from Cape Town, South Africa. I have over 14 years experience both on stage and in studio, and over 5 years teaching experience. I currently teach drums at a Primary School as well as private lessons in both drums and guitar. I'am an Italian drummer, composer teacher with over 25 years of experience. I'am credited on over fifty albums, and held masterclasses in Africa, England, Germany and China, including the Shanghai Conservatory in 2018. I was interviewed several times on various newspapers and radios including: Musikateneo, Drums and Percussion, Senza Barcode, JAZZIT, Jazz Espresso, Radio Rai 3 (Antonio Fusco 6et, New Semplicity Trio, Tino Tracanna Acrobat), Jazz Inside, Popular Radio, Beijing Radio. In 2014 I got the honour to be mentioned on the new edition of the Italian Jazz Dictionary edited by Flavio Caprera, for Feltrinelli Edizioni. I played and collaborated with important names of the international music scene including: Tim Berne, Nick Hampton, Yuhan Su, Paolo Fresu, Tino Tracanna, Paolino Dalla Porta, Francesco Bearzatti Tinissima 4et. As teacher I atually work with an Asian online drum platform since three years where I thaught masterclass on different topics. From august 2017 to august 2022 I have been teaching at the jazz department of the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy (BCMA) in China.

Piet began studying drums and percussion at the age of twelve with world renowned jazz drummer/marimba player/educator Jim Bailey (Life member of Percussive Arts Society U.S) He started playing professionally at fifteen with respected blues and jazz musicians around Adelaide and in 1986 went on to study the Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies at the Adelaide College of Advanced Education. All aspects of music were covered, from jazz to funk to classical and mallet percussion as well as drum kit and snare drum studies. During this time Piet taught at various private music schools around Adelaide. After completing his formal education in 1988, Piet performed with Adelaide’s best bands and musicians, including guest spots with Normie Rowe and U.S soul legends The Crystals. Before leaving Adelaide in 1991 he was a member of the house band for the ABC’s “The Big Gig” comedy show, playing to packed houses at the Festival Theater six shows a week. Soon after arriving in Melbourne he was selected as drummer for The Sharp. His tight musical playing and vocal skills became an intrinsic part of this well known and loved band. From 1991 to 1995 The Sharp went on to release three albums through Warner Music (debut achieved a Gold Aria Award) and the band toured nationally and internationally for four years. A sponsorship deal with D.W drums was struck and during this time Piet gained valuable recording experience under such producers as Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera, MTC, Malthouse Theater), Nick Mainsbridge (Rat Cat, Def FX, Tall Tales and True, The Triffids) and Rick Will (Jimmy Barnes, Diesel and Ziggy Marley). Piet has performed in the backing band with Tina Arena, Vika and Linda Bull, Kate Ceberano, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, Fiona Horne (Def FX), U.K pop megastars ABC, Scott Owen (The Living End), Brian Mannix (Uncanny X Men), Deborah Conway, Paul Norton, Richard Clapton, The Chantoozies, Brian Cadd, Russel Morris, John Paul Young, Grace Knight, Archie Roach, Shane Howard, Paul Gray (Wa Wa Nee) Sean Kelly (The Models), Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera) James Freud (The Models), Scott Carne (Kids in the Kitchen) Michael Spiby (The Badloves) and Alyce Platt. In October 2004 he was part of the house band for “The Sapphires” - a soul review show at the Melbourne Theatre Company, starring Rachel Maza and Deborah Mailman. The Sapphires subsequently became a hit on the West End and was released as a feature film. The Sandpebbles, Piet’s original band’s fourth album (Ghost Transmissions) received rave reviews in The New York Times and London’s Sunday Times. Piet is proficient in all areas of percussion teaching, mallet and orchestral instruments as well as drum kit studies and in 2008 he taught over fifty students and lead percussion ensembles. He is also a Fully Accredited practitioner registered with “Drum Beat” to train students in the “Drum Beat” well-being program. Piet (in conjunction with Peninsula Grammar’s Positive Psychology Dept) has delivered the Drum Beat program to Year 8 students for the last three years achieving excellent results in student well-being. He was also heavily involved in MLC’s co-curricular program where he led four Year Seven groups and one Year Five group. Piet also oversees Show Band/Stage Band/Drumline/Concert Orchestra/Symphonic Band and has lead ensembles at the Kew Festival/Anzac Day march and a long lost of inter-school concerts. In 2012 he gained a Grade Eight (final level) Trinity Guildhall (U.K) Orchestral Percussion. Piet has taught the Trinity Drum Kit and Percussion syllabus for the last ten years up to and including Grade 8. He has also taught Drum Kit and Percussion using the VCE Syllabus.

I'm Michael Gijan graduated at Cebu Eastern College Bachelor of Information Technology. I was a former member of the band called "Inhuman Resurrection" and my current band today is "Storya" Designated at Phillipines. I’ve been working as a freelance music teacher at Rockschool (RSL) for 3 years. What really got me into the field is to pursue my career as a music teacher and become a good musician when I was working at Cebu Music Learning Center. I teach many student as a result I am very in demand when it comes to teaching at young students. That's why I've been promoted as a Head Faculty to my current work at Music Lab on Cebu City, Phillipines. I also passed my performance and diploma examination at The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Sharing my knowledge about music is my forte, I'm may not a perfect musician but I'm perfect at teaching of what I'm good at. I’m a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and former touring musician with decades of experience leading bands and choirs, and a passion for helping others realize their dreams. I began my career as a professional musician by working as a tenor section leader while studying music composition, conducting, and vocal performance. I also interned at Todd Hobin Studios, where I gained hands-on experience in recording and production. Over the years, I’ve served as section leader for several vocal ensembles, further developing my musical and leadership abilities. After earning my BA in Music, I returned home and stepped into a directorial role, where I continue to lead, perform, and collaborate across a wide range of musical styles.
