Born in Scotland, daughter of a rock drummer. I picked up the bass in my early teens and then went on to study at the Leeds College of music. I has been dubbed the ‘mistress of groove’ and my playing style has been developed from my diverse influences including James Jamerson, Andy Fraser, Neil Murray, Alan Woody, Nathan East, Jaco Pastorius and Victor Wooten. I excel at playing a wide variety of musical styles including rock, blues, funk and soul and have established myself as a go to bass player and is building a sizeable following. I play bass for the critically acclaimed band JoanOvArc and also played with Syteria, featuring Jackie Chambers of Girlschool, I have toured the UK and internationally and appear on several recordings. I toured with Australian rockers Tequila Mockingbyrd, orchestral art rock band The Red Paintings. I have has recently been collaborating with Tal Bergman (Billy Idol, Chaka Khan, Joe Bonmassa and Rod Stewart), guitar great Haim Romano and others.

I have over 12 years of experience of performing as an artist working as a composer and reciting performances from the Classical approach from my main instruments Piano Guitar. As-well-as the classical approach my abilities and styles are quite vast. I have knowledge in more musical styles/genres such as contemporary, modern music as the top charts today! Rock Pop Blues Jazz Punk & many more (PLEASE ASK) I write and create my own teaching programmes which are designed to develop and structure the student properly to where he/she wants to be. I always ask my students what they want first, what they want out of these lessons, and their end goal for me to get an understanding coherently and properly as the teacher to work with either him/her. All my lessons entail Music Theory and basic musical rudiments this is why i don't offer music Theory as the student already learns it through my structured lessons.

I taught myself music from scratch. It was a rough process. But it made me firmly believe anyone can learn music. If you can count to 8, you can play music on nearly any instrument. Musicians make music seem more complicated than it actually is. I love teaching music theory like a language and I think it's important to start jamming as soon as possible. Before I was a music teacher, I was a behavioral therapist working with non vocal clients with autism. I do my best to condense lessons into a series of behaviors that build over time and teach a strong understanding of music theory.

I am a music teacher who has over 4 years of teaching experience. I graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have experience teaching a range of instruments. I teach in secondary schools and 90% of my pupils sitting the National and Adv/Higher SQA exams received Grade A or Higher during the last academic year. My main instrument is the piano and I am also skilled in composing classical music. Well, I am very passionate about music, it has been part of my life for a very long time. I am teaching music to my students in a classroom, so why not to do it online? I have experience in online teaching for 7 years, up to now, I have been teaching Music theory with practical usage of instruments (guitar, bass, piano and percussions) online too. I have my own curriculum, so I can adjust it according to the students' needs. My music experience is a very rich one. I used to play in many bands over the time, I have a professional career as a guitar player in Theatres orchestra. I have opened concerts for some famous music stars. I am a patient and hardworking, responsible teacher. I will do my best in every class, because teacher responsibility is not just to teach, teacher power lies in attitude and ground principles which all well educated teachers know how to use to better stand for the student. I received my B.Mus. Degree in 2011 from University of Aberdeen. My M.Mus. Research was focused on Music Therapy and I was awarded the degree in 2013. Diploma in Education from North-West university (NWU), South Africa. I have a Grade 8 Certificate in Music Theory from Trinity College London. and I am currently preparing for my Licentiate from the same institute. I worked as a Music Teacher for Brain Child International Schools - Enugu, Nigeria. Currently employed as HOD Music Department for Royal Academy of Creative Arts
