My name is Mathis Saunier, a London-based composer and guitar teacher. I began playing electric guitar as a child and studied classical guitar at the Conservatoire of Geneva, graduating with jury distinctions, before completing a composition degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I currently teach classical/electric guitar, music theory, and composition at St Aloysius College and Harris Academy Clapham, working with students aged 10 to 35. My music has been performed by ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and United Strings of Europe, and I also perform in a rock band. I'm passionate about teaching composition—helping students unlock creativity across genres from classical to electronic music. I adapt my teaching to each student's interests and background, whether they're writing for piano, guitar, or exploring production. I also enjoy working with adults, tailoring lessons to their musical journey and sensibilities.

Classical Guitar, Electric Rock Guitar, Electric Bass Guitar, Clarinet
I am a dedicated musician and educator with over a decade of experience on both guitar and clarinet, supported by two university music degrees, including a Master’s. My musical journey began at a young age, and throughout the years I’ve developed a strong foundation in technique, musical expression, and the joy that comes from making music. I have performed in a wide range of settings—from intimate solo concerts to large ensemble performances—and I enjoy bringing that versatility into my teaching. My lessons are patient, structured, and encouraging, with a focus on helping each student progress at their own pace. Whether you’re learning your very first notes or working to refine more advanced skills, I tailor each session to your individual goals and musical interests. Above all, my aim is to make music both accessible and inspiring, so students not only build confidence and skill but also develop a genuine love for playing.

I’m Bill Roseman — guitarist, vocalist, composer, and lifelong student of the blues. I first picked up the guitar when I was 13 in South Jersey, inspired by the electric fire of Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, and classic blues masters. From those early days, I’ve never really put the instrument down. In the 1990s I made my way over to Europe and became involved with the Medford Slim Band, touring and playing festivals in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and beyond. Over time I’ve explored many corners of blues, rock, zydeco, harmonica blues — whatever felt honest and heartfelt. My latest album Outskirts is a project I poured myself into — eleven originals and one cover — and it reflects where I’ve been musically and where I hope to go. Beyond performing and recording, I believe in the power of connection through music — sharing what I know, learning from others, and keeping the tradition alive in fresh, personal ways. I've been teaching for the last 25 years or so. All styles, all levels offered. Specializing in getting beginners started right. Intermediate and advanced players wishing to improve their technique, or expand their knowledge are also welcome. From young beginners who want to learn to read music and understand basic music theory, to retirees interested in strumming a little rock and roll, contact Bill today!

Classical Guitar, Electric Rock Guitar, Electric Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Acoustic Guitar
I discovered my passion for music at the age of 12, and from that moment it has never left me. What began with five years of individual guitar lessons—exploring classical, acoustic, and electric guitar—soon grew into a lifelong dedication. I chose to pursue my academic journey at the prestigious Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where I earned a Bachelor of Music in Pop Rock Guitar. Currently, I am completing a Master of Music in Jazz Composition and Arranging, further expanding my artistic voice and creative approach. Alongside performing and composing, I have a deep love for teaching music. Guiding students on their own musical paths reminds me of my teenage years, when I was first captivated by the beauty of this universal language. For me, teaching is not just about technique—it’s about sharing the joy of discovery and helping others connect with music as a powerful form of expression.

My teaching style is student-centered and practical: I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether that’s playing their first song, improving technique, writing original music, or diving into recording and production. I’m also a working songwriter with nearly 50 original tracks under my belt, so I know what it takes to go from practice to performance. I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music (Jazz Performance) in May 2014 with first class honours and in the same year, received the Young European Jazz Artist Award with the Elliot Galvin Trio. At Bishop Thomas Grant Secondary School I teach the guitar/bass (jazz/classical/contemporary), piano (jazz/classical) and also run the jazz band after school.
