Hi, my name is Jameson Burton. I am a multi instrumental musician and teaching artist. I pride myself in having 20+ years of experience teaching primarily guitar and saxophone, but also a wide variety of instruments and styles outside of that specialization. My passion for jazz, rock, classical, and folk music presents a diverse pallette of skills and experience. I have been performing as long as I have been teaching. I find it to be an important part of an educator's lifestyle in order to relay meaningful information to their students.

I have built my career as a performing musician in the jazz and songwriting scenes across South America, Europe, and the United States—sharing my original music and collaborating with a wide range of artists. My deep passion for composing and improvising has shaped not only my artistic identity but also my approach to teaching. Bachelor of Arts, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh city I picked up the guitar at the age of 12 and learned various genre of music, especially contemporary music like Jazz, Bkues and Rock. I have been teaching for about 6 years and giving lessons to boyh kids and adults As a music lover, I enjoy listening to good old music like Jazz and Blues; howerver when I was in High school, I listened to a lot of metal bands like Metallica, Megadeth,… I also have a thirst for great cup of coffee or tea while watching people or having good conversations. Another side of myself is that I am a handcraft avid person, especially Origami – the Japanese art of paper folding. Since young age, I have folded a lot of Origami models, which really improves my calmness and patience in the long run. Reading book is one of my hobbies, but not all kind of genre. The only one I’d like to read is adventurous, code-breaking books like works from Dan Brown. Comics like Japanese manga are of course in my “must-read” list.

After graduating from Brighton University in 2013 I’ve been working within the music industry full time. Due to recent global events I’ve had to change the way I work. There has never been a better time to learn an instrument, with the skills I’ve developed over the years I can provide students a successful course in Guitar, music theory and composition, That will stay with students through their own careers.

I have been a professional musician and Peripatic teacher for 22 years. I am a bass player (double and electric), guitarist and piano player. I studied Double Bass and Piano at London College Of Music, and have worked professionally on all 3 instruments. My professional experience is primarily theatre and pit work, I enjoy teach harmony, theory and technique, and realise the importance of teaching at a pace that suits the student. I have previous experience in arranging and copyist work, and can teach this if required. I like to encourage my students to record themselves on a DAW. They are then able to easily identify and areas that need working on, whilst learning the basic principles used in music technology. I specialize in Logic Pro X and Dorico 3 instruction. I am an extremely self-motivated and passionate teacher, I believe there are many aspects of my experience that would benefit future musicians.

I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music (Jazz Performance) in May 2014 with first class honours and in the same year, received the Young European Jazz Artist Award with the Elliot Galvin Trio. At Bishop Thomas Grant Secondary School I teach the guitar/bass (jazz/classical/contemporary), piano (jazz/classical) and also run the jazz band after school. This means I have developed concise methods for preparing students with graded exams and conservatoire auditions. I draw upon my experience as a busy and regularly touring/recording musician to help inform and perfect my teaching. I am a keen believer that teaching enhances and consolidates my own understanding of music so I am greatly gratified from constantly searching for ways to develop my teaching skills.

I am a music teacher, a singer (tenor), a guitarist, a ukulele player, a pianist and a conductor. I have sung in many choirs including the BBC Symphony Chorus, the London Philharmonic Chorus. I have played guitar in rock/metal bands and bass guitar in the Capital Concert Brass band. I have been a private tutor for 7 years and have helped my students to pass ABRSM exams and do musical projects. I love working with people, sharing my own experience and knowledge. For me, being a tutor is much more than just teaching. I want my students to love music, and I want to show them how important it is. Hi Students I'm a composer, live and studio professional guitarist currently taking online students during the pandemic. As a musician touring 6 years, with Cirque Du Soleil I have been fortunate enough to spend the majority of my career traveling the world and working with some of the most incredible, dedicated artists and acrobats in the industry. During my time with Cirque Du Soleil. I worked as primarily as a guitarist but also 2nd chair keys player and during my final year as assistant band leader. I also spent 3 months in a creation period for one of Cirque's shows creating and developing guitar parts with EDM composer M83. I also have experience as a studio professional featuring on albums alongside guitarists Mark Lettri and Cory Wong. Whether you're a complete beginner, intermediate level or more advanced and looking to develop your chops or prep for a session, I think I can give a unique perspective on your playing style, performance and insight into the entertainment industry in general.

Yamirah Gercke a Berlin based guitarist who writes cinematic Jazz Pop music. She has established herself in the German music scene as being an in demand guitarist and composer. She developed her guitar abilities at an early age. Listing to Wes Montgomery led her to play electric guitar. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado and Berklee College of Music at which she earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance on Guitar with an emphasis on Composition. She teaches Jazz and Pop Guitar as well as or in combination with Composition/Songwriting. She has teaching experience in all ages and adapts her lessons to each individual student.
