I come from a classical background but most of my real world experience is in rock and pop. I attended Goldsmiths University London where I specialised in jazz performance, music tech and musical composition and I have toured extensively with both originals bands and function bands including performing on a cruise around the U.K. I spent the last 3 years working with Just Play music school in London where I lead ensembles and one on one lessons both in person and online. I’m a committed, patient and enthusiastic educator and I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and adults from a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.

I have been teaching private lessons since I was in high school. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2018 with a degree in Music Education. I have been playing piano since the age of five, studying voice since the age of seven and guitar since I was eleven. I have worked in a variety of group and private settings. I have studied Jazz, Classical and Contemporary techniques on all three of my main instruments and focuses on wellness integration while teaching.

I studied at the Elder conservatorium of music where I completed a Bachelor of music performance with a jazz guitar major, I have also taught violin for a number of years up to AMEB grade 3. My students have consistently competed in eisteddfods and have usually placed. I am currently studying a master of teaching through Curtin University and have worked within the department for education in South Australia as an instrumental music teacher, I have my working with children check in QLD (blue card) and South Australia, mandatory reporting and an authority to teach instrumental music form the teacher registration board. I teach both jazz and classical because both offer the student different things in terms of technique, improvisation, aural ability and application of music theory and analysis. I teach AMEB theory, AMEB classical guitar and AMEB violin and incorporate curriculum from Mel Bay; Turner and White and the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Reporting Authority (ACARA) when helping students with school based music learning. I am a London based professional Jazz Guitarist, educator and composer with over 30 years experience in teaching. I have performed in several important Jazz Festivals with renowned musicians from Italy and abroad. I have released two albums as a co-leader and five as a side musician. I graduated in 2014 in Jazz Guitar Performance from Conservatory of Fermo. I have been teaching to students of every age for over 30 years , from one to one classes to band tutoring. I studied cello under James Halsey from the Royal College of Music and Music (BMus Hons) at The University of Huddersfield, studying conducting under award winning conductor Natalia Luis-Bassa and composition and performance under world renowned pianist Dr. Philip Thomas. I have toured all over the UK and Europe, and have headlined some prestigious venues including; The NEC (Birmingham,) Aintree Racecourse and The Cavern Club (Liverpool,) as well as playing with some highly regarded ensembles including The Orchestra of The Swan as the soloist for their Snowman tour. After university I founded and ran my own record label and recording studio, started the world’s first ‘Bandeoke’ band and have taught 100s of pupils in groups and 1-1 lessons.  I offers instrumental lessons from beginner to grade 8 in; guitar, voice, cello, bass guitar and double bass, and from beginner to grade 5 in; piano/keyboard, violin, drums, ukulele and music theory. I am a trained opera singer, studying under Chris Booth-Jones from the Royal Academy of Music, and have performed in many musicals and stage productions, taking the lead roles in; Oliver, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and Oklahoma. I have taught at many schools and colleges, starting my own courses and leading string groups, orchestras, choirs, theory groups and bands.   When I'm not teaching or gigging I work with musicians from all over the world as a freelance recording artist/session musician/composer/arranger/producer and technician.

I'm a drumming and guitar teacher from Cape Town, South Africa. I have over 14 years experience both on stage and in studio, and over 5 years teaching experience.
