Flute

I'm a classical flutist with a BA degree in Music, specializing in flute performance. For over eight years, I've been teaching flute to kids. I've also held positions as the Principle Flute Assistance in the Syrian National Orchestra and as the Principle Flutist in the Mari Orchestra, the first women's orchestra in the Middle East. I'm passionate about music and dedicated to sharing it's beauty through teaching and performance.

I started playing music when I was I ten. I was awarded a partial scholarship to the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music where I majored in Classical Saxophone Performance, where I won the Outstanding Jazz Soloist award (2004). I then received a partial scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and studied there with a principal instrument of saxophone, and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2009. I've spent the last ten years performing full-time, on cruise ships (Carnival, Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, The World), land tours (iLa Mawana national tour), theatre productions (For The Record: The Brat Pack, Broadway's After Midnight), and independent bands (Samsaya Trio, Vivian Clement Quartet). My performing experience has taken me to 70 countries and all seven continents. I've self-recorded and self- produced multiple albums. I've been featured as an arranger in many settings, including Robert McFletcher's LOVE. I have three of my own shows (A Public Saxophone and other Bedtime Stories, Just Sax, and CBSAXLIVE). While I studied saxophone as my primary instrument, I also play flute, clarinet, harmonica and bass guitar at a professional level. My degree is in composition and recording/production, so I would love to help anyone getting started in that area. I also teach music theory for those interested in learning theory.

I am a professional Flutist based in South Africa. I have 10+ years in teaching flute and piano and I have a Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently looking to build an online client base, in oder to work from home.

I am a Hungarian clarinetist and just arrived in the USA in March 2024. In 2012 I was ranked among the top 30 jazz clarinetists in the world. My discography includes 11 solo albums as a leader and 54 as a sideman. I had master classes with the top jazz artist in the World, like Buddy DeFranco, Bill Smith, Tommy Vig etc. I am playing 50's and 60's jazz in the style of Stan Getz, Paul Desmond, Jimmy Giuffre and other great west coast jazz players.

Rafael is a professional jazz & classical saxophonist, composer, and arranger doubling on the clarinet and flute. With a musical career of over 15 years, he has performed both solo and in collaboration with various musical groups. These include his own bands, esteemed musical artists, cover bands, tribute bands and jazz/swing big bands. His performances have taken him to national and international music venues, festivals, and tours ranging on different styles of music. Having graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire (BMus Hons Jazz Studies) and also completing the 8th Grade (ABRSM) on Classical Saxophone Rafael has long been enthusiastic about studying jazz and classical music on the saxophone. During all his formative years and most of his career he has enjoyed every opportunity to share his passion through music by being an inspiring, supportive and encouraging woodwind teacher. Over the last 8 years of private instruction experience Rafael has been working as a Woodwind Teacher (saxophone, flute, and clarinet) on both classical and jazz music. He believes in creating a friendly and professional atmosphere making sure that students feel supported on their individual musical journey, by giving them the knowledge necessary for reaching their personal aspirations. Rafael has helped many students of all levels and ages to make fast improvement. Over the years he has shown high levels of knowledge having taught music theory (classical & Jazz), Jazz improvisation, composition (classical & Jazz) as well as has successfully preparing students for all the different types of exams such as GCSE, A-Level exams, and ABRSM, LCM, LSM, Trinity College London (TCL), RSM, Rock School. Furthermore, Rafael has conducted few practical 15min seminars on “How to play the saxophone” and also 30min workshop on “Jazz Improvisation” for a community jazz big band (Note Benders)

I am a retired high school band director with over 30 years of teaching experience. I have been teaching flute lessons for 35 years. I have two music degrees from Louisiana State University. I play professionally in my community and am a founding member of the Riverwinds Trio chamber music ensemble.

I hold a PGCE in Secondary Music (2007) and spent 10 years teaching in secondary schools up to GCSE level, many of those years as Head of Department. During that time, I consistently achieved excellent student results and was recognised by the local authority for outstanding value-added scores. Alongside my school teaching career, I’ve offered private tuition in flute and piano for over 10 years—particularly during a career break to raise my young children. I also provide Grade 5 Theory lessons and have experience working with students of all ages, from 7 to 50+. I’m passionate about nurturing musical growth through structured, supportive, and enjoyable lessons tailored to each learner's needs.

Hello, my name is Kiroulos Sidra. I’m a passionate music educator and performer based in Staten Island, New York. Over the past seven years, I’ve had the joy of teaching flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano, guitar, and violin to students of all ages and skill levels. My musical journey has led me to direct ensembles and choirs, as well as found the Academy of St. Cecilia, where I focus on nurturing both technical skills and a deep love for music in church and community settings. As a teacher, I believe every student learns differently. That’s why I adapt each lesson to individual goals—whether you’re discovering your very first notes, polishing your tone, or preparing for a performance. My approach combines strong technical foundations like breath control, finger technique, and theory with the joy of self-expression and artistry. Teaching reminds me daily why I fell in love with music in the first place: its power to connect, inspire, and transform. Hi, my name is Jameson Burton. I am a multi instrumental musician and teaching artist. I pride myself in having 20+ years of experience teaching primarily guitar and saxophone, but also a wide variety of instruments and styles outside of that specialization. My passion for jazz, rock, classical, and folk music presents a diverse pallette of skills and experience. I have been performing as long as I have been teaching. I find it to be an important part of an educator's lifestyle in order to relay meaningful information to their students.

Organized Flute Recital in co-operation with Singapore musicians “Minh Trang’s Teachers & Friends Recital” at the Ho Chi Minh Conservatory in 2017. Organized a Fusion music concert night (Jazz with Classical music) in co-operation with Singapore musicians “Friendship & Fusion” at the Ho Chi Minh Conservatory in 2019. Besides Flute, I enjoy Singing and Dance too. And have 2 cute cats named Spot and Brown.

Nelly Rodríguez has a Master´s Degree in Contemporary Music. Taught in many places including the National Univeristy of Honduras, given master classes in Costa Rica, Honduras, Montenegro and Spain. Has played in many international orchestras and ensembles such as the Ensemble Stravinsky (Switzerland), National Orchestra of Costa Rica and the National Orchestra of Honduras. Also has participated as conductor in the many ensembles of the National University of Honduras. Won the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Scholarship Tuition Assistance Award, 2015 (EEUU). Currently works as woodwind teacher, and appears regularly in different ensembles along the UK.
