Yamila Ayala (“Yami Ayala”) is a professional musician/educator who’s short-term goals are to gain more experience as well as exposure through a variety of Music, Music Education, and Performances with others as well as her own. Yamila is proficient in playing/teaching Contemporary Voice, Piano, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, and Music Theory for anyone, any age. Yamila has over 5 years of teaching experience. Her career is her passion, she always tries to bring out the best in every student. Teaching people of all ages and levels and goals. Building custom-made lesson plans around each student's specific needs. The better you know your students, the more you can help them. Instilling a comfortable, safe place. Hello! My name is Charlene, I am from Taiwan. I have 14 years experience playing flute and dedicated my studies to this instrument. I have experience playing with an orchestra and participating in concerts, in Taiwan and overseas. During my flute studies at Tainan National University, in Taiwan, and the École Normale de Music, in Paris, France, I tutored several junior students and dispensed private classes. After having the license from university of Tainan, I got the Diplôme supérieur d’enseignement with a prize “Excellent” from École Normale de Musique of Paris. I can arrange individual classes according to the students’ level. My wish is for my students to enjoy the music and transmit my passion for this incredible instrument, the flute !

I am a freelance woodwind musician and teacher based in Glasgow where, after initial training as a classical oboist in Croatia, I completed my education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have extensive music teaching experience both privately and in music schools with woodwinds where I use tailored approaches to best meet the needs and ambitions of my students. I play the oboe, cor anglais, flute, clarinet, and saxophone, and have performed both as a soloist and with a variety of orchestras and chamber groups in the UK and across Eastern and Central Europe. I am qualified to teach music (oboe, flute, clarinet, and saxophone) in English and Croatian (as I am bilingual) and can teach all levels, including exam preparation. My teaching toolkit includes an accessible fun repertoire alongside more formal pieces, exercises to develop breathing techniques and enhance sight-reading skills, and improvisation as a method to build self-confidence and creativity as a performer.

Zach is a passionate and dedicated teacher, holding a degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London and an LRAM teaching certificate. He is the principal flutist of the Greek National Opera and performs regularly as a soloist on renowned stages around the world. His international appearances include Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Boston Symphony Hall, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Seine Musicale in Paris, and Teatro Real in Madrid, as well as prominent venues in Athens and Thessaloniki. A frequent collaborator with the Armonia Atenea/Kamerata Orchestra of the Friends of Music, Zach has recorded for prestigious labels such as Deutsche Grammophon and Decca Classics. He has appeared at major festivals including the BBC Proms in London and the Salzburg Festival in Austria. As an avid chamber musician, he has performed at esteemed events such as the International Flute Festival in Aveiro (Portugal), the International Chamber Music Festival in Ohrid, and Blue Rose Hall at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.
