I am a composer and writer as well, and have been working on several studio productions with skilled musicians and upcoming artists. I am a highly experienced singer and teacher, having been the Jazz Vocal professor at the Royal Academy of Music, London. I have a Bmus in jazz vocal studies and an LRAM teaching qualification. I teach all age groups and levels, from beginners to advanced in jazz, musical theatre, pop and classical. I can teach you to improvise, sight sing and develop your aural and music theory knowledge. I can also help with songwriting. I believe in healthy vocal technique using vocal exercises and developing excellent support. I come from a classical background but most of my real world experience is in rock and pop. I attended Goldsmiths University London where I specialised in jazz performance, music tech and musical composition and I have toured extensively with both originals bands and function bands including performing on a cruise around the U.K. I spent the last 3 years working with Just Play music school in London where I lead ensembles and one on one lessons both in person and online. I’m a committed, patient and enthusiastic educator and I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and adults from a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.

As an experienced music teacher, I am offering piano, voice and music theory lessons. I got my degrees at the University of Music and performing Arts Graz and Vienna. What’s really important to me is to develop an individual study plan for every student and to introduce students to different musical styles auch as Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock... I have been teaching private lessons since I was in high school. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2018 with a degree in Music Education. I have been playing piano since the age of five, studying voice since the age of seven and guitar since I was eleven. I have worked in a variety of group and private settings. I am a 25 year-old classically-trained pianist and piano teacher passionate about helping students achieve their musical goals. I have degrees in psychology and music from the University of Washington, have been playing seriously since I was nine, and have been teaching piano to students of all levels and ages for the last two years. My deep classical training and patient friendly demeanor make me especially well suited for teaching: kids beginner adults, Intermediate to advanced pianists interested in classical music - especially Bach As a teacher, I foster an approachable and student-centered teaching style, with one of my main aims being to make learning piano fun, and helping students play songs they love as quickly as possible. I have extensive training with elite classical musicians, most recently completing a one-on-one mentorship program with concert pianist Aaron Pilsan in Berlin, Germany. I am also trained in jazz and highly proficient in pop and other genres and can help students whose interests lie outside of classical music. Starting from the first lesson I will ask you about your goals and interest in piano, and ask you for a list of songs you like in order to personalize our lessons together such that they will best help you reach your goals and be as engaging as possible. If you are a beginner, I work with you on lesson and theory books, supplementing my own material when appropriate so that my lessons are tailored to your individual needs. When you are intermediate to advanced, we will work on the finer details of proper technique, interpretation, and effective practice - ensuring that you have the right strategies for achieving your musical goals.
