I am a dedicated and experienced music educator and professional musician with over 30 years of experience. My journey in music education began in the early 1990s, shortly after completing my formal music studies. Since then, I have developed a strong passion for teaching, with a focus on modern music theory, jazz guitar, and composition. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students, helping them develop their musical skills in various instruments and styles. My teaching approach includes modern harmony, sight-reading, composition, and improvisation, with lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals. From 2000 to 2015, I was heavily involved in the music industry as a professional musician. I performed extensively, both as a solo artist and as part of collaborative projects, working with other musicians across various genres. During this time, I also composed original music for theater and film, showcasing my versatility and creativity as a composer. My work is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, and others, where listeners can explore my compositions. Since 2015, I have been teaching music full-time in Germany at various music schools. My primary instrument is the jazz guitar, but I also offer lessons in piano, keyboards, ukulele, and bass. I have played the piano since the age of five. My B.Mus degree provided classical training in addition to studies in other music styles. I hold an Honours B.Mus degree for which I worked with children to provide a multimedia experience using a school classroom for the purpose. I spent 10 years as a lounge pianist touring South Africa and neighbouring countries. During this experience I embarked on my love of creativity through improvisation which I inspired to share with students. I have done a considerable amount of private piano teaching apart from class music teaching.

I’ve been a music educator in public schools for over 20 years and a performer since the age of two. I began singing in my mother’s church as a toddler and gave my first stage performance at West Virginia’s Vandalia Gathering at age five. I started formal voice training at 15, studying with Deborah Lucas and later with Dr. Larry Stickler at Marshall University. Throughout my career, I’ve taught both in schools and private studios, with students ranging from beginners to one who reached the Top 12 on American Idol. I’ve also performed in over 25 musical theatre productions across college and community stages in West Virginia and Ohio. My teaching emphasizes classical vocal technique—breath support and vocal placement—that applies to all genres. I also started piano early, playing "Twinkle Twinkle" by ear at age two. At four, I began formal lessons with Mrs. Sarah Jane Mangus, who encouraged playing by ear while focusing on reading music, theory, and proper technique. I follow her example today, supporting my students’ creativity while building strong technical and theoretical foundations.

I’m Vincent Limantoro, a multi-instrumentalist from Indonesia. I began music with piano at a young age and now play over 10 instruments, including violin, cello, guitar, saxophone, guzheng, and koto. I hold a Licentiate in Piano and Violin Performance from the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College London, where I graduated with distinction. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to win prizes at competitions such as the Steinway Youth Piano Competition, Shigeru Kawai Piano Competition, WPTA Finland International Piano Competition, and the String Avenue International Violin Competition. I’ve also performed with ensembles including the G20 Orchestra at Borobudur Temple, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Korean National Symphony Orchestra, and the World Youth Orchestra. In 2024, I toured the UK with TRUST Orchestra, performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and receiving the Outstanding Young Performer Award at the Asian Arts Awards. Whether performing as a soloist or in ensemble, across classical, jazz, pop, or folk music, I aim to share emotion and artistry that connect deeply with audiences.
