Before graduating with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, I was a professional theater actress from ages 12-16. At age 17 I switched to song writing full time and have been writing, producing, playing, singing, recording, and performing my original electronic music ever since. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In these MTO voice and piano lessons, I use my eclectic background to bring a wholistic, curious, and positive reenforcement-based approach to teaching. My students can work on any genre they like while still learning proper technique. In my classroom, music comprehension, creation, and performance are not pass/fail subjects. I am a music graduate, with a BA degree in Songwriting and MA in Creative Music Production. I have taught music for 10 years, with students from all over the world, some of whom are pursuing music as a career. I am also a performer and composer for my band project as well as for other new pop artists. My lessons are laid back and focus on your personal development, and make sure you enjoy the whole musical journey.

I am a versatile musician and performer with over 10 years teaching experience in voice and piano. I am classically trained and have a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from University of Toronto as well as a master's degree in Vocal Performance and Literature from Western University of Ontario. I have sung variety of repertoire ranging from Baroque to Popular music, as well as jazz and opera. I have performed extensively both as a soloist and as part of ensembles throughout Canada, including Schola Cantorum, Toronto Orpheus Choir, and Opera in Concert. I have also been part of valour intensive young artist programs such as Spazio Music International and Academia Europe Dell'Opera in Italy, Chicago Summer Opera in the United States, and Summer Lyric Opera Theatre as well as Tapestry Opera in Canada. Moreover I have a grade 10 Certificate in Piano from Royal Conservatory of Music. As a teacher I always strive to bring out the best in my students by challenging them with new concepts using innovative teaching methods. I believe that voice is a reflection of our inner world and that singing is a healthy outlet for expressing emotions. My approach to singing is somewhat athletic, utilizing the whole body and making my students a little bit stronger and healthier along the way. I use physical activities which activate the breathing mechanism and choose repertoire that is age and level appropriate and appeals to the student. In piano lessons I use a combination of innovative and standard approach and include a little bit of theory and keyboard harmony in every lesson to enhance the learning process. I try to make learning music fun and informative at the same time while helping my students cultivate the ability to express themselves in an authentic manner.

I received my B.Mus. Degree in 2011 from University of Aberdeen. My M.Mus. Research was focused on Music Therapy and I was awarded the degree in 2013. Diploma in Education from North-West university (NWU), South Africa. I have a Grade 8 Certificate in Music Theory from Trinity College London. and I am currently preparing for my Licentiate from the same institute. I worked as a Music Teacher for Brain Child International Schools - Enugu, Nigeria. Currently employed as HOD Music Department for Royal Academy of Creative Arts

I am a musician and music teacher with over 15 years experience, and am passionate about sharing the joy of music via lessons tailored to my students individual needs! About me: Having learned violin from the age of 7 and with a degree in Popular and World Musics (Leeds University) and an MA in Composition for Film & TV (Bristol University), I have a solid grounding in musical theory and substantial experience of both teaching, performing, composing and recording. I tailor lessons to the needs of individual students. I am experienced in teaching both adults and children. Specialising in helping my students to build confidence in their playing and learning, and with that showing them how the learning process can be enjoyed. I come from a classical background but most of my real world experience is in rock and pop. I attended Goldsmiths University London where I specialised in jazz performance, music tech and musical composition and I have toured extensively with both originals bands and function bands including performing on a cruise around the U.K. I spent the last 3 years working with Just Play music school in London where I lead ensembles and one on one lessons both in person and online. I’m a committed, patient and enthusiastic educator and I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and adults from a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.

As an experienced music teacher, I am offering piano, voice and music theory lessons. I got my degrees at the University of Music and performing Arts Graz and Vienna. What’s really important to me is to develop an individual study plan for every student and to introduce students to different musical styles auch as Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock... Enjoying learning and making music is of course a big must! :)

I have experience teaching ABRSM, trinity and rock school. I trained classically myself however doing a pop degree as lead me to have an extensive knowledge of pop and musical theatre if students are interested in learning different styles.

I gained a degree in Music and Technology (BMus Hons) from the University of Edinburgh in 2005. I have been playing classical piano for almost 35 years, and teaching for almost 20 years. I teach conventional classical training for music reading, technique, and grades. And I also teach a self-developed curriculum for gradually and progressively teaching students how to play music by ear, including understanding and playing and hearing chords, and hearing melodies and bass lines as a sequence of intervals.
