I have a BMus and MA in composition from Chichester University, and an MMus in composition from Birmingham Conservatoire, as well as 10 years experience as a professional pianist specializing in ballet, having worked with most of the major ballet companies and vocational schools in the country. I have released 13 CDs of music for ballet classes and solos, having sold over 10,000 copies in shops and on iTunes. I Play the piano to LRCM level as well as having grade 8 on the organ, grade 7 on violin and 6 on trumpet. I have also worked extensively as a choir accompanist and a church organist. I have won compositional prizes, with pieces performed in various cathedrals and Birmingham Symphony Hall. I have excellent music theory and composition knowledge, as well as being very comfortable with technology. I have used Cubase and Sibelius extensively in my own recording studio. I taught myself music from scratch. It was a rough process. But it made me firmly believe anyone can learn music. If you can count to 8, you can play music on nearly any instrument. Musicians make music seem more complicated than it actually is. I love teaching music theory like a language and I think it's important to start jamming as soon as possible. Before I was a music teacher, I was a behavioral therapist working with non vocal clients with autism. I do my best to condense lessons into a series of behaviors that build over time and teach a strong understanding of music theory.

I started musical education at 13 with accordion and Electone (electronic organ). Obtained Grade 4 degree from Yamaha Music Foundation. Studied classical percussion and flute at State Conservatory of Northern Greece. Studied Advanced Theory, got degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint, and Fugue. Worked at F. Nakas Conservatory from 1986-2011, was in charge of Electone Department and teacher preparation. Assigned regional artistic direction of Organ Department at Filippos Nakas Conservatory from 1996-2001 for the whole of Greece, organized concerts and supervised teachers. I conceived and initiated the creation of “Music and Computers” department at Philippos Nakas Conservatory. Arranged and transcribed over 100 piano works. Wrote over 25 piano and orchestral books. Created "Easy Piano" adult learning system. Composed music for children's fairy tales and audio books. Arranged musical themes for presentations and corporate events. Involved in music composition and orchestration for the last 10 years, with music played in various countries (radio, documentaries, commercials, etc.).

I am a dedicated and experienced music educator and professional musician with over 30 years of experience. My journey in music education began in the early 1990s, shortly after completing my formal music studies. Since then, I have developed a strong passion for teaching, with a focus on modern music theory, jazz guitar, and composition. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students, helping them develop their musical skills in various instruments and styles. My teaching approach includes modern harmony, sight-reading, composition, and improvisation, with lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals. From 2000 to 2015, I was heavily involved in the music industry as a professional musician. I performed extensively, both as a solo artist and as part of collaborative projects, working with other musicians across various genres. During this time, I also composed original music for theater and film, showcasing my versatility and creativity as a composer. My work is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, and others, where listeners can explore my compositions. Since 2015, I have been teaching music full-time in Germany at various music schools. My primary instrument is the jazz guitar, but I also offer lessons in piano, keyboards, ukulele, and bass. I am a music graduate from Oxford University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. I have over 30 years experience of teaching all keyboard instruments (classical, jazz and pop) with many students gaining excellent results in ABRSM exams, and gaining music scholarships to major universities in the UK. I am happy to take on beginners and intermediate students as well as advanced, and happy to teach all ages. I also teach Theory of Music and have worked as an academic examiner in music. I teach in a school as Head of Keyboard Studies so I have all the necessary UK safeguarding training and my checks are up to date. I am available to teach most days and can be flexible. With several years teaching pupils of all ages and abilities coupled with a career playing at the highest level with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Paolo Nutini, Imelda May and Kubb it's always been my aim to make lessons fun, exciting, interesting and rewarding. After studying classical piano at Trinity College of Music I set off on the road with my first band, Kubb, playing small bars and clubs before gaining a modicum of success after performing on Jools Holland and Top of the Pops! Since then I've carved a career teaching, writing, performing and producing many different artists including playing keys on the 2017 Christmas Number 1 single "Perfect" with Ed Sheeran and Beyonce!
