I believe music should be fun and everyone is able to learn to sing or play an instrument. I teach across all age ranges. At the moment my youngest student is four years old and my oldest is eighty six! I like to create a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment, which I believe enables my students to focus more easily on what is being taught. All classes include sight reading, basic theory, finger techniques, chord patterns, ear training and understanding rhythm. As well as providing online piano and vocal lessons, I also offer a range of performance masterclasses. See you in your next music lesson!

I am a professional opera singer of Italian/Thai descent, with an international career spanning four continents. I’m a top graduate from the “Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello” in Venezia, Italy. I was appointed to sing for the King of Thailand and in several Royal Command Performances. I also created major roles in various opera World Premieres in Australia and Thailand, and was praised by Opera UK magazine for singing the famous “two showpiece arias with apparently effortless ease” as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”. I have an extensive teaching experience of over 10 years, having taught Classical Voice and Italian Diction in Thailand’s top universities and international schools, also conducting lectures, workshops and masterclasses on Italian language and Opera singing. Currently based in London, I often have collaborations both as performer and as Italian Language Coach with Barefoot Opera, of which I also am an associate artist, and Longborough Festival Opera. I divide my performing and teaching activity between UK, Thailand, Italy, and now online too. I am passionate about the process of unfolding the student’s unique voice and the blossoming of talent, either professionally or for pure enjoyment. I teach classical singing from beginner up to a professional level, with an emphasis not only on technique, but also on repertoire, stage presence, clear diction (expertise in Italian, Latin, English, French) as a means to enhance expression, musicality and projection. But I also work with students who sing music theater, crossover, pop and other genres, as I believe that a solid basic technique founded in the principles of classical singing can be very beneficial also in other styles. Therefore I welcome students of all ages, backgrounds and singing styles. I also have experience in preparing students for ABRSM Singing Exams for Grades 1-8. Last but not least, I have the same enthusiasm for students who want to experience the freedom of healthy singing without necessarily pursuing a profession, and who want to benefit physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually from the many positive aspects that singing produces in all of us as human beings.

I am a pianist, composer, and musicologist originally from California and residing in The Netherlands. I hold a Master of Music in Composition from Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg, a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Musicology from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Arts double major in Music (piano performance and musicology) and Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. During this time, I studied with Richard Taruskin and Nicholas Mathew, among others. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I studied for two years privately with prominent Bay Area pianist, Diane Hidy. I currently play piano in the contemporary music trio No Piece of Wood, with Sjors van der Mark on electric guitar and Hanna van Rooijen, soprano. With this trio, I perform, among other contemporary repertoire, my own music. In addition to composing for my own ensemble, I have composed for soloists Ralph van Raat, Vincent van Amsterdam, Niek Baar, Maya Fridman, and Tom Sanderman, among others. I have also composed pieces for the Merced Symphony Orchestra in California, the Euregio Jeugdorkest, November Music Festival, the Nationale Opera Studio, and the Opera Forward Festival (2020) in Amsterdam. In May 2020, I initiated the project Music for Empty Spaces, in which 12 composers (including myself) wrote 12 pieces for 12 solo musicians, all reflecting on the corona crisis. The event was live-streamed by NPO Radio 4 from an empty Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam. While at UC Berkeley, I studied piano with Jacqueline Chew and Debora Petrina. I also spent a year in a full-immersion Italian language study abroad program at L’Universita’ degli studi di Padova, in Padua, Italy. I studied in the opera-choir department of Ankara University State Conservatory. After graduating with an honours degree in the opera department, I continued my education to be a teacher. It allowed me to work at various art schools and improve my skills in teaching voice and piano lessons. I realised I need to get even better if I want to change people’s lives and improve the education system so I embarked on a master’s programme at Necmettin Erbakan University, Department of Educational Sciences. The best part of that is I qualified for the Erasmus+ Internship Program here in the UK. I’ve been teaching here for over 2 years, highly adapted multi-cultural education approaches. I’m keen on following well-thought-out lesson plans, developing authentic teaching materials and activities. I teach through visuals, games, songs, chants. And I incorporate real-world materials and technology in my lessons. I believe that as a teacher I must also keep on learning and improving myself. So, in my free time, I practice yoga, compose songs, and do my research online. I’d love to discuss your aspirations and goals and how I can help you. I have over 12 years of experience of performing as an artist working as a composer and reciting performances from the Classical approach from my main instruments Piano Guitar. As-well-as the classical approach my abilities and styles are quite vast. I have knowledge in more musical styles/genres such as contemporary, modern music as the top charts today! Rock Pop Blues Jazz Punk & many more (PLEASE ASK) I write and create my own teaching programmes which are designed to develop and structure the student properly to where he/she wants to be. I always ask my students what they want first, what they want out of these lessons, and their end goal for me to get an understanding coherently and properly as the teacher to work with either him/her. All my lessons entail Music Theory and basic musical rudiments this is why i don't offer music Theory as the student already learns it through my structured lessons.

Hello! I'm a professional British musician, currently based in Munich. I studied Music at King's College London (specialising in piano) and graduated in 2018 (First Class). During my studies, I led the university's a cappella group, The Rolling Tones, which subsequently made it to the International Championships on Broadway in New York City in my final year, after being crowned UK champions. Piano Teaching I've been teaching piano for 8 years now, predominantly working with beginners to Grade 5 ABRSM. I am, however, trained to university standard and am able to teach up to Grade 8 comfortably. I believe in training musicality above all else. While a hugely important aspect of my teaching, technique can only take you so far, and I find that the most enjoyable, sustainable music-making comes from developing one's own feelings, opinions and interpretations to music. Singing Teaching I was trained in the Estill Method by Alison Guill and Evie Anderson. This method focuses on the physiology of the voice and prioritises natural modes of sound production - such as speech quality and ‘play’ sounds - to produce powerful, clear, versatile and healthy singing. Lessons delve into effective techniques used by pop, musical theatre and classical singers, such as speech-tone, twang and belt. I believe in delivering engaging and informative lessons that not only focus on technique, but also encourage confidence, joy, passion and story-telling through performance. As a Music graduate and professional arranger, I am also keen to teach more Music Theory (again, I'm most familiar with the ABRSM Music Theory syllabus). I am also a professional vocal arranger and workshop leader for a variety of ensembles, having won numerous international awards for my work.

I taught myself music from scratch. It was a rough process. But it made me firmly believe anyone can learn music. If you can count to 8, you can play music on nearly any instrument. Musicians make music seem more complicated than it actually is. I love teaching music theory like a language and I think it's important to start jamming as soon as possible. Before I was a music teacher, I was a behavioral therapist working with non vocal clients with autism. I do my best to condense lessons into a series of behaviors that build over time and teach a strong understanding of music theory.
