I am studying for a Bachelor in music (oboe performance) at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have a diploma in music performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and was the recipient of their oboe scholarship. I love teaching! I have lots of experience teaching 1:1, and have even taken a module through my university specifically on music teaching. I enjoy finding out what makes each student tick, everyone learns in a unique way! Therefore, I will tailor your individual needs, to help you. I am really looking forward to beginning your musical adventure!

I was born in Italy, raised in Nigeria and moved to Chicago in 2015 to start college at VanderCook College of Music. I graduated in 2019 with a music education degree with PEL license to teach K-12 music, band, orchestra and choir. I have loved my time teaching ever since I stepped foot into the classroom. Though I am primarily a saxophone player, I am currently teaching 2nd and 3rd grade violin, 4th-8th grade band classes. Other than teaching, I love listening to music, painting, cooking, and spending with my my family.

I am a friendly, patient and passionate oboist/cor anglais player and tutor based in the central belt of Scotland. Dedicated to my students with a strong experience both as a performer and a teacher for over 10 years I can teach you oboe, cor anglais, music theory and reed making to transform you into a wonderful talented player. Play a reed to make your day is my motto! Lessons are student centred tailored to your needs and expectations. Exam preparation, entrance to conservatoire/uni, joining an orchestra or just simply having fun, we will get you where you want. I freelance with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Ballet, London Concertante. I am a former apprentice with all 4 Scottish professional orchestras as well as I used to freelance with Scottish Opera. I have performed internationally accross Europe as a guest player in international festival orchestras and for chamber music. I was trained accross Europe including the Paris conservatoire, HEMu Lausanne Switzerland, the Royal COnservatoire of Scotland as well as many masterclasses in Italy, Germany, France with the big names of oboe (Francois Leleux, Dominik Wollenweber, Jacques Tys, Miriam Pastor etc) I teach accross Scotland at the Royal Conservatoire for Scotland (MT department), in various schools in Edinburgh, with Sistema Scotland and my own private students Past students success include 100% pass rate in graded exams (merit or distinction only!), joining a Bachelor of performance, joining local and youth orchestras I teach all ages and all levels, everyone is welcome as everyone can play oboe! I teach in English or French (German is also possible)

I am a freelance woodwind musician and teacher based in Glasgow where, after initial training as a classical oboist in Croatia, I completed my education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have extensive music teaching experience both privately and in music schools with woodwinds where I use tailored approaches to best meet the needs and ambitions of my students. I play the oboe, cor anglais, flute, clarinet, and saxophone, and have performed both as a soloist and with a variety of orchestras and chamber groups in the UK and across Eastern and Central Europe. I am qualified to teach music (oboe, flute, clarinet, and saxophone) in English and Croatian (as I am bilingual) and can teach all levels, including exam preparation. My teaching toolkit includes an accessible fun repertoire alongside more formal pieces, exercises to develop breathing techniques and enhance sight-reading skills, and improvisation as a method to build self-confidence and creativity as a performer.
