I have been teaching piano, voice and guitar for many years alongside my positions as Director of Music and Head of Arts in schools in South Africa, Oman, Germany and Austria. I recently married and moved to Dublin where I have been teaching Music Theory, Piano and Voice. I am a choral conductor and adjudicator and my choir from South Africa were World Champions in Folklore art the World Choir Games in 2000 and 2004 among many other International accolades. I am proficient in television performances and organising large scale concerts and performances. I have a passion for developing the best out of my students and seeing them develop into excellent musicians and performers.

I have been teaching accordion for over ten years on a one to one basis and also on a group basis. I love bringing my knowledge to people and making them feel empowered. My musical accomplishments are many, and at the tender age of eleven I was already performing in a production of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with the RSC at The Barbican, London. At twelve years old, I performed for BBC Television, and at seventeen, I performed live on The National Lottery TV Programme. I continue to write my own music and perform at weddings, festivals and events all around the UK and Europe.

My name is Louise and I am a qualified music teacher (PGCE in Secondary Music), have a degree in Music Composition (2:1.), Grade 8 Piano, Grade 3 Flute and approximately Grade 6 Vocals. I am also an active musician. I began to learn the piano when I was 7 Years old, I also learnt flute at school and was part of the school wind band and orchestra, plus I have enjoyed singing from an early age. I have been teaching music since 2006. I teach piano, keyboards, vocals and have also taught curriculum music, plus fife and basic steel pans. I teach individuals, small groups and whole classes. Each year I organise performance opportunities for students to showcase their skills in front of the school or at a venues around the city. I am also happy to support students in taking exams if they wish. I have directed a school choir, where I organised numerous school concerts and accompanied vocalists on the piano. I have had experience of teaching Reception, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and Adults, plus I have supported GCSE/BTEC music students. Additionally, I have worked for Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) in Warwick and Rugby, where I taught vocals to large groups of students, plus individuals. When I’m not teaching I enjoy playing and singing jazz and latin music, I can also play classical music. Additionally I attend music workshops and professional development courses relevant to my work. I play keyboards and sing lead and backing vocals for 2 bands. I love to play, teach music and share my knowledge and passion for an art form that can bring so much fulfillment in life.

I am a classically trained flautist and studied at the Royal College of Music, London, where I was awarded the G.R.S.M (Hons) degree, A.R.C.M. (teaching diploma) and Advanced Certificate in performance. As a performer I have worked throughout the Uk, freelancing as a soloist, orchestral musician and with many ensembles. I have 30 years of experience teaching flute, in schools and privately, both online and face-to-face, and my pupils range from age 5 to 75. As a teacher, I believe it is my responsibility to encourage a love of music, whether it be working for exams, or to play for fun only, and to help the pupils achieve their personal musical goals. I have also been an examiner for 25 years for Trinity College London, and this has helped me to provide excellent preparation for pupils who want to take exams. I enjoy teaching pupils of all ages and abilities and encourage learning a broad range of repertoire.

I've been a full-time professional guitar teacher for 12 years, during which time I've been published as a writer of instructional material for Lick Library, Guitar Interactive Magazine and the Sound magazine, as well as taught at numerous schools and colleges including Kensington & Chelsea College, the International Guitar Foundation and the Guitar Institute in London. I specialise in contemporary modern rock techniques, improvisation concepts and applied music theory, as well as composition and production techniques for recording rock and metal music. I teach all ages and abilities, with a particular experience in working with adults and older teenage learners to develop technical command and theoretical authority on the guitar. All my lessons are bespoke to requirements, with tons of pre-written worksheets to cover all the most common aspects of guitar and the ability to generate new ones on the fly during your lesson; I always provide full notes for every class taught so you're not left confused when you return to the material in your next practice session!

Archie Combe is a pianist, composer and singer based in London. Classically trained and inspired by jazz pianist Bill Evans/ Herbie Hancock, Archie has performed at the National Theatre and performed with Bill Laurance as part of his UK tour. Archie has released an EP 'Sun' and has composed a short musical film called 'Road to Dad's.' Alongside his busy performing life, Archie is also an accomplished accompanist and teacher.

Do you want to learn to play your first drumbeat or you want to get better at it? I’m a passionate and charismatic drummer with 15+ years of experience. With an open-minded approach to music, I love sharing the passion for drums. I customise my teaching approach for every student depending on their current level, interests and age; many of my current students started as complete beginners! We will work together on basic drumming concepts, technique, rudiments, reading music and grooves that will enable you to play confidently over your favourite tunes! Relaxed and fun, suitable for everyone (8+).

I am a violinist and viola player and teacher with twenty five years of experience. I have taught all aspects of string teaching and have been employed as a teacher in various contexts throughout my career. I have taught: individuals (privately and in schools,) from beginners to advanced; small groups; whole classes; Colourstrings lessons; creative music workshops from group lessons for adults to doing improvisation and composition workshops with young people with learning difficulties; to leading composition sessions for A -Level students. My teaching is a combination of traditional approaches to playing: teaching excellent technique and I cover classical repertoire and exercises/studies; grade syllabuses - Trinity or ABRSM if appropriate for the student; and also creative techniques: teaching ways to approach improvisation and composition. My playing experience includes extra work for some of the London orchestras; solo work; film and TV sessions; chamber music; remote recordings from home with my home studio. I also do composition and arrangement work and can do remote recordings from home.

Hello, I'm a music teacher based in southeast London, my specialisation is Drums, with over 15 years of experience in live and studio settings, along with seven years of teaching experience. I teach all abilities – from complete beginner to advanced players. Whatever style you may have in mind, I can teach you these include jazz, salsa, samba, folk, rock, indie, and electronic.
