Classically trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff. Specialising in alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. Experienced with big band, orchestral and musical theatre playing. Specialist in extended techniques - altissimo, multiphonics, slap tongue and circular breathing.

I'm a professional Saxophonist and Flutist originally from the South of England but have been based in South East Asia for the past 14 years as a performer and private music teacher. I graduated from University in London in 2003 with a degree in jazz music. I performed many gigs and held private workshops in the south of England before deciding to move to South East Asia where I have been performing in hotels, jazz clubs in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China. I specialise in jazz improvisation and harmony.

I have been teaching privately for seventeen years . I have also taught in schools, both primary and secondary, organising pupils lessons , examinations and concerts. I teach all ages from six to sixty years old. I teach different genres of music . I have been playing music since I was nine years old. My first instrument was the electronic organ. I then started to play the clarinet in the school orchestra and the also sax in the schools concert band. I have played in flute choirs and concert bands since then. I studied a degree in Nottingham . It was a music and performance degree with emphasis on contemporary composition. I am a singer song writer and like to create my own music as I have a recording studio . I am near to releasing my first EP. I have three grade 8 s in piano, clarinet and flute and a grade 5 alto saxophone. I currently teach online and teach recorder, clarinet, alto sax, ukelele and piano. I can also play the guitar. I often use a lot of improvisation in my teaching and I also encourage pupils to write their own music. I am teaching the ABRSM syllabus and Rockschool syllabus.

I have been teaching Piano, music theory and vocals for more than 20 years. I love teaching! I am a classically trained pianist but can teach almost all styles of music. I have a bachelor's degree in Music and a Diploma in Music teaching. My online set up has 2 camera angles: one on the keyboard and the other on myself. I use online/digital accessible music books and resources to make the online teaching process easier for both student and teacher. I have an Australian Working with Children Check Certificate. I am accredited with the Music Teachers Association of Australia. I teach students from 4 years old to Adult. Young children will need an adult to supervise their lesson online as it is a little different to an in person face to face lesson. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you!

Hi, I love drums, I have been drumming since the age of 7. I have gigged all over the UK. Toured Denmark, Holland, Germany. Played US bases in Turkey, jammed on Bourbon St, New Orleans. Had residencies in Malta and Australia. Recorded for RCA on hit records in Denmark, Holland, South Africa and Germany. I am a professional tutor and musician. I have taught many students over the years, I currently have over 20 students of varying ages and abilities. I use Rockschool, Trinity Music, MTB, The Percussive Societies 40 Drum Rudiments and tailor the lessons to suit the students by writing excercises to help them develop. Most important is to make the lessons fun. When students master a piece which has been proving difficult, or pass an exam it gives me a buzz and makes my job worthwhile. I play in a rock/pop band three nights per week so keep up to date with current trends. My last three students to take exams were Joe - Rockschool Grade 5 Distinction, George - Rockschool Grade 5 Merit and Anna Rockschool Grade 3 Merit.
