I'm an “Estill Voice Training Certified Master Teacher” and a “Yoga of The Sound Practitioner” with 20 years of experience in singing and 10 in teaching students of all levels and ages. I'm teaching beginners and advanced students of all ages and the Vocal lessons include: - Physical warm-up with a body and vocal stretching - Breathing and Vocal Technique-Estill Voice Training - Ear Training - Yoga of the Sound to discover the connection between the sound, the Body and to feel the Vibrations - Repertoire - Recording and Musical Performance Technique I teach (almost) all genres. I believe it’s important to expand our own musical knowledge from pop to soul, to jazz and musical theatre. I encourage my students to have a broad musical experience to draw from. I love to take my students on a real journey, during which they can approach and learn how to apply technical knowledge and study the art of “song interpretation”; each lesson is an exploration of the emotions that they want to convey through a song.

Hi, I am SImone I am a professional musician and have been passionate about music since I was a kid. I graduated in 2008 in Jazz Guitar Performance by the Civici Corsi di Jazz in Milan. I have been teaching to students of every age for more than 10 , one on one classes, full classes, summer camps and band tutoring. Teaching it is always been part of experience, since, as a musician, I am a student myself and I am aware of the difficulties involved in the process but even of the joy that learning an instrument can bring you. From 2014 till 2018 i worked as a show-band musician and musical director for Princess Cruises and Holland America cruise lines. In 2019 i started teaching again, wrote my own guitar and ukulele method for beginners. I love teaching to any degree and in most of the styles that throughout my career i have been lucky to play, from jazz to rock blues, funk, country blues fingerstyle and many others. I embrace the combination of traditional and modern methods like the uses of apps and technology. My lessons are dynamic and fun, and tailored on the students needs and goals. As a performer I had the honor to play with international artists as: Franco Cerri, Peter Howarth, Daniel Betancourt, Mo Pleasure, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Nathan Foley, Fabio Giachino, Monday Orchestra and many others.

I am a saxophonist from Ireland who has performed all over Europe, and is currently studying for a Masters of Music Performance in the Royal College of Music, London as a Dr Michael West Scholar. My 7 year teaching career began in a community band teaching students between the ages of 8 and 17. Since then I have taught students of all ages, standards and genres. My goal is to tailor lessons to suit each individual student and to make them fun! I was the inaugural winner of the 2017 Flax Trust Music Award and the 2019 Sligo Feis Ceol RTE Lyric FM Bursary. In summer 2018, I represented Ireland at the World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb, Croatia. I have performed with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, SinfoNua Orchestra and Irish Symphonic Wind Orchestra. I am the first saxophonist from the Republic of Ireland to become a Yanagisawa saxophone and Vandoren reed artist.

Piano & keyboard lessons in the comfort of your own home. You’re never too young or too old to start playing music – my pupils range from 5 to 70 years old! I have over 20 years experience as a teacher and professional musician playing classical, pop, jazz, rock, and just about any other style. I’ve worked with many bands, duos and soloists over the years and am an experienced Musical Director. I have worked with many prestigious names both on land and at sea, as both Musical Director and keyboard player, including: Jaki Graham, Bucks Fizz, Jimmie James, Clem Curtis, PJ Probyn, Angie Brown, Gwen Dickie (Rose Royce), Pearl Kaufmann (Henry Mancini’s piano player), Claire Sweeney, Bradley Walsh and many more. I have vast experience of band & session work, so can teach keyboards and piano in a band situation, as well as teach classical piano, so you get a better all round musical perspective than learning just classical music.

I have been a drum and trumpet tutor to students in primary school, secondary school, right through to retirees looking for a new (or to rekindle their old) passion for music. I have a wide playing experience from classical ensembles, orchestras, cuban big bands, jazz bands, ska bands, pop bands, tribute bands and klezmer bands along with my work as a studio session musician and of course an instrumental tutor. I am currently the peripatetic drum tutor at two large secondary schools alongside my private roster (totalling around 60 one-to-one lessons per week). I also teach via video conference call online to those whose location makes travelling impractical. Currently due to the current coronavirus situation I am teaching all 60+ lessons online via the zoom platform. *TRUMPET*: I teach the trumpet as an instrument not a genre; much of the technique I pass over is based in the classical style as I find this creates players who can perform with ease but I also teach my pupils to improvise, to play from memory, music theory and even some composition while they master the instrument itself. Smiles and enjoyment are at the top of the list for music, after all, that is the point right? I find this produces well rounded AND MOTIVATED players who can apply themselves to almost any situation. This holistic style of education encompasses all styles, not just classical pieces - so if you are interested in something specific just let me know! Starting with a solid technical routine my students build up their skills in directions which interest them. *DRUMS*: As a drum tutor I present a rather different set of ideas, still based in good solid technique and theory but much more based in popular music; I do not teach classical percussion as I am not myself a classical percussionist. I draw from my extensive background in band playing and show work (musicals, tributes) to initially provide students with the select tools they need to get out playing with other musicians; we then work on deepening their knowledge and expending their tools to tackle much more interesting yet taxing opportunities. Much of the work that will need to be completed between lessons can be done on a practice pad though access to a drum kit will be needed in some shape or form, especially if the pupil is to remain engaged and driven (be this acoustic or electric). *GENERAL*: Over the years my interest in the challenges of playing have lead me to investigate very thoroughly the techniques and physical difficulties of playing the instruments which are numerous yet solvable when approached in an informed and calm manner. *QUALIFICATIONS*: Ba(hons) Music 2:1 (1st class in performance modules), ABRSM Grade 8 (Merit) Trumpet, ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory

I am a professional piano & keys player working for over 20 years now. I have been teaching for around 15 years now and have taught classical and contemporary music. I have taken students though various exam boards including ABRSM, Trinity & Rock school. I have experience as a composer for film and stage and have written for numerous artists. I have performed in bands as well as musicals, worked in cabaret and performed with comedians. I enjoy teaching and work with the student to build a lesson plan that covers the content they wish to develop and hopefully inspire them to go further.

I have a Bmus Degree from the Royal Holloway University of London, top of my class in Performance. While I was at university I was filming Harry Potter as I was lucky to be cast in 4 of the films and also Thor: The Dark World. I stopped acting full-time to pursue my passion for music. I have had 3 top 30 records at USA radio and been on tour with Westlife in the UK, playing 3 nights at the O2 arena, also performed with James Arthur, LeAnn Rimes, Adam Lambert to name a few. I teach Piano, Singing ( classical, pop, folk, etc) Keyboard, songwriting and music theory. I have been teaching for 12 years, and I love being part of a musical learning journey and changing my teaching approach for each pupil so it works for the way in which they learn best and progress the quickest with the most enjoyment.
