Classical Piano

I started the piano at the age of 6 in Greece. I then studied abroad in KCB Brussels under Piano Professor Daniel Blumenthal and Evgeny Mogilevsky. I received my MA from the National&Kapodistrian University in Athens and then finished a PhD in Composition at the Ionian University of Corfu. I can teach piano beginner till University level and exams for entering to Conservatories as well. I have also worked at the Brussels Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition while my studies in 2007 in Brussels. I have now worked in Greece as well for three different Universities in Artistic Direction and Music Projects Creations as well as performing piano as required in professional appearances at occassions.

I have a BA in Music and certificates in violin performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, the Conservatory at Rivers, the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music and Hampshire College, where I graduated in 1985. I have coursework in Jazz from UMass Amherst, Musicology and Composition from Amherst College, Music Theory from Mt Holyoke College, and violin from Smith College. I am a founder and President of Mandolin New England, a 501c3 nonprofit mandolin orchestra. I have been teaching adults and teenagers how to play fiddle, mandolin, tenor banjo and flatpicking guitar since 1986

I am a professional trumpet player graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have 21 years of experience in playing trumpet, and 12 years of teaching experience. First of all during our lessons I want to help you to achieve your goals and ambitions in music. I gained a degree in Music and Technology (BMus Hons) from the University of Edinburgh in 2005. I have been playing classical piano for almost 35 years, and teaching for almost 20 years. I teach conventional classical training for music reading, technique, and grades. And I also teach a self-developed curriculum for gradually and progressively teaching students how to play music by ear, including understanding and playing and hearing chords, and hearing melodies and bass lines as a sequence of intervals.

I am a 25 year-old classically-trained pianist and piano teacher passionate about helping students achieve their musical goals. I have degrees in psychology and music from the University of Washington, have been playing seriously since I was nine, and have been teaching piano to students of all levels and ages for the last two years. My deep classical training and patient friendly demeanor make me especially well suited for teaching: kids beginner adults, Intermediate to advanced pianists interested in classical music - especially Bach As a teacher, I foster an approachable and student-centered teaching style, with one of my main aims being to make learning piano fun, and helping students play songs they love as quickly as possible. I have extensive training with elite classical musicians, most recently completing a one-on-one mentorship program with concert pianist Aaron Pilsan in Berlin, Germany. I am also trained in jazz and highly proficient in pop and other genres and can help students whose interests lie outside of classical music. Starting from the first lesson I will ask you about your goals and interest in piano, and ask you for a list of songs you like in order to personalize our lessons together such that they will best help you reach your goals and be as engaging as possible. If you are a beginner, I work with you on lesson and theory books, supplementing my own material when appropriate so that my lessons are tailored to your individual needs. When you are intermediate to advanced, we will work on the finer details of proper technique, interpretation, and effective practice - ensuring that you have the right strategies for achieving your musical goals.

Hi! I'm Riccardo, I graduated with honours at the Bologna Conservatory in Classical Saxophone, where I specialized in soprano and alto saxophone, and then I started to study modern music. I studied jazz and classical saxophone with Marco Ferri, Cristiano Arcelli, Luca Cacciatore, Maurizio Giammarco, Hans De Jong, Mario Marzi, Bill Smith, Steve Lehman. I actually teach saxophone in private schools and play constantly in Northern Italy with various projects, from classical orchestras to funky big bands. In live gigs I usually play saxophone and keyboards, rarely clarinet, but I can also play bass and drums.

I studied at the Elder conservatorium of music where I completed a Bachelor of music performance with a jazz guitar major, I have also taught violin for a number of years up to AMEB grade 3. My students have consistently competed in eisteddfods and have usually placed. I am currently studying a master of teaching through Curtin University and have worked within the department for education in South Australia as an instrumental music teacher, I have my working with children check in QLD (blue card) and South Australia, mandatory reporting and an authority to teach instrumental music form the teacher registration board. I teach both jazz and classical because both offer the student different things in terms of technique, improvisation, aural ability and application of music theory and analysis. I teach AMEB theory, AMEB classical guitar and AMEB violin and incorporate curriculum from Mel Bay; Turner and White and the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Reporting Authority (ACARA) when helping students with school based music learning. Crystal started playing the flute at the age of 10 and quickly fell in love. She graduated from Villa Grove High School in 2015. While there, she participated in ILMEA festivals, both at district and state levels. Crystal has studied with Maureen Moller and Dr. Rebecca Johnson. In May of 2019, Crystal received her Bachelors degree in Music Performance from Eastern Illinois University. While at EIU Crystal participated in the Eastern Illinois Wind Symphony, Eastern Symphony Orchestra, and performed regularly with her trio Etcetera Trio. Active in musical theater, Crystal has performed in local pit orchestras in the musicals "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, "The Music Man," and most recently "The Secret Garden". Crystal has also performed in Masterclasses with Dr. Jonathan Keeble and Dr. Erin Torres. Also while at EIU, Crystal spent a semester at Salzburg College in Salzburg, Austria. While there, she studied flute with Mr. Oliver Kraft. As an educator, Crystal has studied private teaching pedagogy with Dr. Rebecca Johnson and Dr. Anna Cromwell, at Eastern Illinois University. Crystal has also taught private flute lessons to students of all ages. During the summer of 2018, Crystal was an office and convention intern for the National Flute Association in Chicago, Il.

I am a London based professional Jazz Guitarist, educator and composer with over 30 years experience in teaching. I have performed in several important Jazz Festivals with renowned musicians from Italy and abroad. I have released two albums as a co-leader and five as a side musician. I graduated in 2014 in Jazz Guitar Performance from Conservatory of Fermo. I have been teaching to students of every age for over 30 years , from one to one classes to band tutoring. Lessons are tailor-made and based on your needs and time availability. I teach online from my home studio in London to students of all ages, whether they are beginners, intermediate or advanced. Styles I specialise in are jazz, rock, blues, funk and pop.
