Keyboard, Organ

Hello, I'm Costas. The lessons I have prepared for you are 2: 1. Customized keyboard lessons based on your needs. We will use in the lessons some free software to make learning more fun. Also, there will be videos made by me that will help you with studying when you are alone. 2. Electone (electronic organ) lessons. This is an instrument that is like a full orchestra as you can hear in the attached video. Below you can see information about my musical career. I started musical education at 13 with accordion and Electone (electronic organ). Obtained Grade 4 degree from Yamaha Music Foundation. Studied classical percussion and flute at State Conservatory of Northern Greece. Studied Advanced Theory, got degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint, and Fugue. Worked at F. Nakas Conservatory from 1986-2011, was in charge of Electone Department and teacher preparation. Assigned regional artistic direction of Organ Department at Filippos Nakas Conservatory from 1996-2001 for the whole of Greece, organized concerts and supervised teachers. I conceived and initiated the creation of “Music and Computers” department at Philippos Nakas Conservatory. Arranged and transcribed over 100 piano works. Wrote over 25 piano and orchestral books. Created "Easy Piano" adult learning system. Composed music for children's fairy tales and audio books. Arranged musical themes for presentations and corporate events. Involved in music composition and orchestration for the last 10 years, with music played in various countries (radio, documentaries, commercials, etc.).

Flute

I'm a classical flutist with a BA degree in Music, specializing in flute performance. For over eight years, I've been teaching flute to kids. I've also held positions as the Principle Flute Assistance in the Syrian National Orchestra and as the Principle Flutist in the Mari Orchestra, the first women's orchestra in the Middle East. I'm passionate about music and dedicated to sharing it's beauty through teaching and performance.

I'm Michael Gijan graduated at Cebu Eastern College Bachelor of Information Technology. I was a former member of the band called "Inhuman Resurrection" and my current band today is "Storya" Designated at Phillipines. I’ve been working as a freelance music teacher at Rockschool (RSL) for 3 years. What really got me into the field is to pursue my career as a music teacher and become a good musician when I was working at Cebu Music Learning Center. I teach many student as a result I am very in demand when it comes to teaching at young students. That's why I've been promoted as a Head Faculty to my current work at Music Lab on Cebu City, Phillipines. I also passed my performance and diploma examination at The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Sharing my knowledge about music is my forte, I'm may not a perfect musician but I'm perfect at teaching of what I'm good at. Having studied the cello for over seventeen years I love sharing my passion for story-telling via music with my students. I believe a solid technique gives one true freedom in musical expression. This is my goal in teaching and supporting each individual student in their development.

Violin

My name is Gersh Chervinsky, I am a violinist based in Rockville, Maryland. I am a graduate of Peabody Conservatory, Jacobs School of Music and Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. I have been teaching violin for the last 10 years. I regularly perform with Kennedy Center Opera House, Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, Washington Bach Consort. Since 2014, I have been teaching students 4 and older, who planned on becoming professional violinists. They attended the junior division of music school at Moscow Conservatory and The Gnessin Music Academy, as well as local music schools. In 2017, I worked in an elementary school in Bloomington, Indiana, teaching violin group lessons for kids of mostly low-income families. Although it required a different set of expectations, the children were able to perform their repertoire very well in concert, and graduated to level 4 in the Suzuki method. During the IU String Summer Academy, I was able to work with highly advanced students, who were learning professional concert level repertoire. In January 2019, I was selected to work as an Associate Instructor of violin at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I taught violin to undergraduate and graduate students of intermediate and advanced levels. I created the class syllabus, schedule, and organized the repertoire. My duties included preparing students for hearings, as well as adjudicating hearings and performances. I graded the hearings with fellow associate instructors. My students demonstrated a high level of performance, commitment and music knowledge. Some of my current students are members/concertmaster of MCYO and AYO. My students won prizes and honorable mentions in international competitions and festivals such as the Heifetz Festival, Philadelphia International Music Festival, AMI Violin Competition 2020, the Young Artist Association of the Louisville Orchestra 2020, and the Young Musicians Contest of ISO in 2020-21.

Classical Piano

I have been an active educator and musician for over two decades. My diverse interests and skills stem from a deep fascination with creative communication across various disciplines and media. My journey into piano performance began while I was studying Architecture, prompting me to transition into pursuing a degree in Music performance. During my undergraduate years, I showcased my talents extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, participating in concerts, broadcasts, and theater productions throughout South Africa. Alongside collaborating with classical singers, I also undertook advanced vocal training, establishing a robust foundation in vocal technique. My passion for piano performance led me to the UK, where I honed my skills through touring, performing, and engaging in collaborative performance projects. Upon returning to South Africa, I pursued a Master's degree and pivoted towards education. I began lecturing at Wits and eventually discovered my most fulfilling work in the realm of interdisciplinary Arts and performance education. I had the privilege of contributing to institutions such as The Ridge School, St Mary’s Waverley, and Redhill School.

Violin

I was born in Córdoba in 2000 and showed a keen interest in music from a young age. I began my violin studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Córdoba when I was 8 years old, and I completed my studies with the highest grades. When I turned 18, I moved to Madrid to pursue a Higher Degree in Music at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid, where I had the privilege of studying under the guidance of Ana María Valderrama. She has profoundly influenced both my instrumental skills and personal growth. After graduating in 2023, I enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Music Therapy at the International University of La Rioja. Simultaneously, I became a member of the Andalusian Youth Orchestra, offering me opportunities to collaborate with internationally acclaimed conductors. I also joined the Academy of Orchestral Studies of the Barenboim-Said Foundation, benefiting from the supervision of Branislav Sisel. Furthermore, I am a founding member of the CordoBaroque Ensemble, a group that has enabled me to explore baroque music using historicist criteria, under the direction of José Manuel Navarro. Throughout my musical journey, I have taken advanced courses instructed by renowned figures such as Jeff Thayer, Carole Petitdemange, Helena Satué, and Kennedy Moretti. In terms of achievements, I secured the First Prize in the “Marcos Pedro Moreno Jiménez” National Violin Competition in 2011, within the Elementary Teachings category. Additionally, I clinched the First Prize in the XII “Lorenzo Palomo” Chamber Music Competition in 2018, in the Professional Teaching category. Driven by a passion for teaching, I began offering private violin and musical language lessons in 2015. During the 2022/2023 academic year, I provided extracurricular violin and piano instruction at the Santa María de los Rosales School in Aravaca, Madrid. Currently, I am embarking on a new role as a violin and musical language instructor at the Guadalix de la Sierra Music School in Madrid for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Hugh teaches exclusively online, utilising a super fast Starlink internet connection, that combined with leading music software enables him to deliver very effective music lessons. "In lockdown I was forced to move my teaching online, I quickly found much to my surprise that with the ready access to modern technology, that my students progress did not suffer. In fact in many cases I found the opposite, and that I was able to introduce concepts and techniques more easily, along with being able to monitor, asses my students effectively and therefore generate personal lesson plans that resulted in fast progress. Hey, I'm David, and music's been my thing since I was 3. Growing up in music school set me on a path to gather a bunch of musical skills along the way. I'm not just throwing around a list of instruments—I've dedicated a portion of my life to learning each one. From guitars (both electric and classical) to piano, bass guitar, double bass, and even a dabbling in drums—I've given each instrument its due attention. But, I didn't stop there; I was a singer my whole life and I spent time in a lot of different genres (Operatic singing, Metal screaming, Rock and Pop), I also compose orchestral music, and produce pop tracks too. These skills aren’t just for show—I've dedicated chunks of my life to mastering them, and I've got the experience to prove it! In my teaching style, I mix my love for music with my adventures spanning 25 years in the field. Picture a blend of all the genres I've played, the stages I've rocked, and the melodies I've composed, all dancing together in my teaching approach. From jamming on stages across Europe to recording scores for Hollywood, I infuse my classes with stories from the road and lessons learned in the studio. Whether we're diving into the depths of composition or perfecting instrumental skills, I aim to go beyond just the notes on the page.
