Additionally, she has spent the last 6 years making her mark in the music industry as a vocalist and continues to work on projects with acclaimed artists like Jonas Blue, Zara Larson, Liam Payne, and Retrovision. She has written and recorded music for artists across the globe and has extensive knowledge of Logic and vocal engineering for the Pop music world. With over 8 years of experience teaching music, to both children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring my pupils through art and music! I have experience in teaching both celtic and pedal harp, music theory and piano. Being passionate about learning new things and expanding my own knowledge, and I strive to instill this same enthusiasm in my students. By combining my 6 years of experience in teaching guitar with my students' own interests, I help my students make progress in the most engaging way possible. I provide my students with a grounding in the basics of technique and theory to make sure they develop good habits, enabling them to make use of the near-infinite resources online when they want to play and learn more in their free time and later in life. Experienced choir conductor, professor of music theory and history with extensive experience working with students of all ages (from 8 to 68 years old), mentor of school rock bands, vocal groups, solo singers, and solo instrumentalists (guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards ). Also, continuously for two decades, I have taught private lessons in classical and electric rock/jazz guitar (from beginners to professionals), classical piano, harmony, polyphony, conducting to students of all ages. Part of the results of my work are many awards at international and national choir competitions, as well as national competitions for rock bands. I have a Master's degree in choral conducting, special training in opera and symphony conducting, and a Bachelor's in music theory, pedagogue, and choral conductor.

I’m Filip, a cellist and teacher based in Basel. I hold a Master of Performance from Hochshule der Künste Bern and started a Master of Pedagogy at Musik Akademie Basel. I’ve played regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin, Berner Symfonieorchester, Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, and several others. I’ve worked for 5 years as a private cello teacher with students of different ages and skill levels. As a teacher, I’m passionate about your progress and success, always trying to find the best solutions adapted to each student’s needs. I am a friendly, patient and passionate oboist/cor anglais player and tutor based in the central belt of Scotland. Dedicated to my students with a strong experience both as a performer and a teacher for over 10 years I can teach you oboe, cor anglais, music theory and reed making to transform you into a wonderful talented player. Exam preparation, entrance to conservatoire/uni, joining an orchestra or just simply having fun, we will get you where you want. I freelance with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Ballet, London Concertante. I am a former apprentice with all 4 Scottish professional orchestras as well as I used to freelance with Scottish Opera. I have performed internationally accross Europe as a guest player in international festival orchestras and for chamber music. I was trained accross Europe including the Paris conservatoire, HEMu Lausanne Switzerland, the Royal COnservatoire of Scotland as well as many masterclasses in Italy, Germany, France with the big names of oboe (Francois Leleux, Dominik Wollenweber, Jacques Tys, Miriam Pastor etc) I teach accross Scotland at the Royal Conservatoire for Scotland (MT department), in various schools in Edinburgh, with Sistema Scotland and my own private students Past students success include 100% pass rate in graded exams (merit or distinction only!), joining a Bachelor of performance, joining local and youth orchestras I teach all ages and all levels, everyone is welcome as everyone can play oboe! Drums

Piet began studying drums and percussion at the age of twelve with world renowned jazz drummer/marimba player/educator Jim Bailey (Life member of Percussive Arts Society U.S) He started playing professionally at fifteen with respected blues and jazz musicians around Adelaide and in 1986 went on to study the Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies at the Adelaide College of Advanced Education. All aspects of music were covered, from jazz to funk to classical and mallet percussion as well as drum kit and snare drum studies. During this time Piet taught at various private music schools around Adelaide. After completing his formal education in 1988, Piet performed with Adelaide’s best bands and musicians, including guest spots with Normie Rowe and U.S soul legends The Crystals. Before leaving Adelaide in 1991 he was a member of the house band for the ABC’s “The Big Gig” comedy show, playing to packed houses at the Festival Theater six shows a week. Soon after arriving in Melbourne he was selected as drummer for The Sharp. His tight musical playing and vocal skills became an intrinsic part of this well known and loved band. From 1991 to 1995 The Sharp went on to release three albums through Warner Music (debut achieved a Gold Aria Award) and the band toured nationally and internationally for four years. A sponsorship deal with D.W drums was struck and during this time Piet gained valuable recording experience under such producers as Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera, MTC, Malthouse Theater), Nick Mainsbridge (Rat Cat, Def FX, Tall Tales and True, The Triffids) and Rick Will (Jimmy Barnes, Diesel and Ziggy Marley). Piet has performed in the backing band with Tina Arena, Vika and Linda Bull, Kate Ceberano, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, Fiona Horne (Def FX), U.K pop megastars ABC, Scott Owen (The Living End), Brian Mannix (Uncanny X Men), Deborah Conway, Paul Norton, Richard Clapton, The Chantoozies, Brian Cadd, Russel Morris, John Paul Young, Grace Knight, Archie Roach, Shane Howard, Paul Gray (Wa Wa Nee) Sean Kelly (The Models), Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera) James Freud (The Models), Scott Carne (Kids in the Kitchen) Michael Spiby (The Badloves) and Alyce Platt. In October 2004 he was part of the house band for “The Sapphires” - a soul review show at the Melbourne Theatre Company, starring Rachel Maza and Deborah Mailman. The Sapphires subsequently became a hit on the West End and was released as a feature film. The Sandpebbles, Piet’s original band’s fourth album (Ghost Transmissions) received rave reviews in The New York Times and London’s Sunday Times. Piet is proficient in all areas of percussion teaching, mallet and orchestral instruments as well as drum kit studies and in 2008 he taught over fifty students and lead percussion ensembles. He is also a Fully Accredited practitioner registered with “Drum Beat” to train students in the “Drum Beat” well-being program. Piet (in conjunction with Peninsula Grammar’s Positive Psychology Dept) has delivered the Drum Beat program to Year 8 students for the last three years achieving excellent results in student well-being. He was also heavily involved in MLC’s co-curricular program where he led four Year Seven groups and one Year Five group. Piet also oversees Show Band/Stage Band/Drumline/Concert Orchestra/Symphonic Band and has lead ensembles at the Kew Festival/Anzac Day march and a long lost of inter-school concerts. In 2012 he gained a Grade Eight (final level) Trinity Guildhall (U.K) Orchestral Percussion. Piet has taught the Trinity Drum Kit and Percussion syllabus for the last ten years up to and including Grade 8. He has also taught Drum Kit and Percussion using the VCE Syllabus.

Hello! My name is Grace and I am a flutist and flute teacher. I have my masters and bachelors in music education and have spent 16 years directing band and orchestra. I have been teaching flute students of all levels (beginning-advanced) and ages. My primary goal as a teacher is to help flutists set and achieve their musical goals all while building confidence in their flute playing!
