Classical Voice, Pop Vocals, Violin

I have been a Voice, Violin and Music Theory Tutor since 2012 .I always look for new and different approaches to teaching so that anyone who wants to give singing or violin a try, no matter what level to begin with, can find pure enjoyment in being a part of music. My love for music ranges from classical, rock, pop, opera and experimental and is able to cover various genres in lessons. I was a member of the London Philharmonic Choir from 2013-2016, regularly performing at the Royal Albert Hall with the choir, including for the BBC Proms and Classical Spectacular, and also participated in tours abroad. In September 2016, I participated in a performance of songs from the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Final Fantasy composer Yoko Shimomura at Abbey Road Studios. I am now a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus and took part in the First and Last Night of the Proms 2017/2018.

Hello! My name is Nawfel and i am a professional violinist/violist offering online lessons during these times! My students have been progressing incredibly rapidly and are having a blast. So i am opening it up to the public to learn that instrument we've always dreamed of learning! My students have gone off to playing in orchestras, winning festivals, university or beginning a career in music! Very exciting! I am licenced and trained in the Suzuki and royal conservatory techniques to maximize your learning.

I am a pianist, pedagogue and composer with more than ten years of experience teaching piano (classical, modern and jazz) all levels, from beginners (age 3 to adults) to professional level. I earned my Masters' Degree in Piano Performance with the Highest Distinction, studying with Iván Cítera and Giuseppe Devastato among others. I am also a trained Suzuki teacher, as well as Suzuki teacher instructor. My lessons are based on developing the ear and audiation, plus awareness of the use of the body to develop a natural, healthy and efficient technique!

Pan Flute

Mariana Preda is a panflute musician based in Amsterdam. She has been playing the pan flute for over 15 years and teaching for over 3 years. She released many albums such as, "Luna", "Sunrise" and "The Untold Stories", with the Italian label MAP from Milan.​Her education was enriched by Dutch panflute player Matthijs Koene. In May 2018 she got her bachelor's diploma in 'Classical/Contemporary panflute' at the Conservatory of Amsterdam which opened for her the first Master panflute department in the world. In 2020 she finished her Master's degree in 'Classical/Contemporary panflute'. In 2016 Mariana has been given a special prize at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest for being one of the best Romanian students abroad in the field of the arts, a recognition that also rewards her activity of promoting the panflute all over the world. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 she performed at UNTOLD Festival in Cluj Napoca, the largest electronic music festival held in Romania each year, approaching a new style of music.​Mariana Preda performed classical and contemporary music accompanied by Japanese pianist Daisuke Kanamaru at the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ for the 40th edition of the Uitmarkt Festival.​Other music festivals where Mariana took part in 2019-2020: Grachten Festival, Vondelpark Festival, Uitmarkt Festival, Prix Annelie de Man, Gaudeamus Festival, Romanian Days in De Hoge Veluwe. She performed in many cities around the world such as Bucharest, Cluj, Milan, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Havana, New York, Chicago Cultural Center, Los Angeles, Cairo and more. In 2018 Mariana together with Daisuke Kanamaru took part at the well known IBLA Grand Prize, a music competition that takes place in Ragusa, Italy every year, run by the IBLA Foundation based in New York City. ​On 5th May 2019 Mariana got an Honorary Citizenship of the city of Jacksonville, Arkansas, handed by Mayor Bob Johnson.​On 7th May 2019, Mariana performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2019-2020 Mariana had many concerts in the Netherlands with the 'Cununa Ensemble', a musical group that links classical music to jazz and folk.

May Cheung is currently a piano accompanist and music instructor. Providing individual coaching, tailored towards the need of every student. Specialising in various fields such as piano, violin, music theory, aural training, tackling written examinations, preparing programme notes, and ​viva voce in diploma examinations. Her students range from preschool to adults, providing her with vast experience when dealing with different age groups. Not only does she successfully inspires all of her students to achieve their optimal potential. But also, encourages them to achieve diplomas and graded examinations from ABRSM and Trinity College London. As a piano accompanist, Cheung has collaborated with various choirs, instrumentalists and vocalists. She continues participating as an accompanist in all kinds of music performances, music festivals, competitions, masterclasses and examinations, including ABRSM and Trinity College London.​Cheung graduated from the Department of Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She studied piano performance with​Mrs. Josephine Wong Cheung Chung Chee and attained Fellowship Diploma (FTCL) in Solo Piano from Trinity College London.

I am a cellist and pianist ABRSM Grade 8: - Head of Music & Teacher of Music in Secondary Education January 2015 to June 2020 - Registered with the General Teaching Council for England and Scotland, UK in both Further Education and Secondary Education since 2001 - Full QTS 2001 and Police Clearance (current) - PGCE Music Secondary, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK - MA Music, University of Huddersfield, UK, - BMus (Hons) Class 2:1, University of Huddersfield, UK. - I am a ABRSM Grade 8 cellist and pianist performing regularly play within string quartets, duets and solo performance

Classical Guitar

I am a graduate from the Birmingham Conservatoire College of music with a BMus (Hons) degree in classical guitar. I have been taught by many renowned players during my training including Simon Dinnigan, Mark Ashford, Gary Ryan and Rob Johns. I have been teaching and performing in and around Oxfordshire since graduation (2003) and currently work in three schools in this area. I have been teaching for 18 years and have a wealth of experience in guiding pupils through examinations and/or pieces for general repertoire.

Classically trained flute player with a BMus (Hons) and MMus in performance. Have been teaching flute, saxophone and clarinet for 12 years. I'm also a church organist and a conductor of a concert band. I teach many different genres of music and love learning new pieces.

Hi! I have been involved with music for most of my life. I have been singing in choirs, ringing handbells at church, and studied the piano while obtaining a music degree at University of North Florida. I have a wonderful husband and two kitties. My hobbies are reading, learning the ukulele, video games, arts and crafts, and even kayaked once! I love trying new things! I'm looking forward to making music that not only impacts the lives of students and the community, but my life as well!

Drums

I have been learning the drums since I was 11 and have been through all the challenges and different aspects of playing from orchestral/concert to original indie/pop, wedding and function bands pantomime and dance shows, party bands and jazz to playing all over the world on cruise ships. I am overjoyed to be still playing and love encouraging others to play.

Hello! I’m Jakub, a professional musician and music teacher with over 20 years experience. I studied for eight years at the Royal College of Music, London, and Wroclaw Academy of Music in Poland. Since graduating in 2011, I have performed internationally with major London orchestras and as a Jazz musician. This included broadcasts on Jazz FM, international competition prizes and tours around Europian festivals and further afield. I am looking for bass guitar and double bass students who are interested in going through the ABRSM grade system or would simply like to improve their playing and general musicianship.
