Hi! I'm Kristi, a South African based composer specializing in composition, orchestration, music theory and education. My passion is to share my knowledge and love with my students and inspire them to become life-long learners of music. I am a musician with a broad variety of skills and experiences. I completed my Bachelors degree Cum Laude at Stellenbosch University. I specialized in Composition and Music Theory and my main instruments were clarinet and conducting. I successfully completed my Masters degree specializing in Composition and Classical Music Marketing. I've written works for soloists, ensembles, choirs and orchestras (including the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra). I've also scored music for films, some of which aired on KykNet, advertisements, and video games. My performance history includes performing as a soloist with orchestra, travelling Europe with an ensemble, playing in numerous orchestras across the country and singing in choirs winning world class international competitions. I am quite a versatile musician and I am sure that I would be able to help you with your music education.

I’m Selin Asar, an experienced and trained musician teaching voice and piano lessons for over seven years now. It doesn’t matter how young you are. I’ve worked with people of all ages (from 6 - 60 years old) and the age has never been a problem when it comes to learning. So long as you're passionate to learn, I’ll help you every step of the way. I studied in the opera-choir department of Ankara University State Conservatory. After graduating with an honours degree in the opera department, I continued my education to be a teacher. It allowed me to work at various art schools and improve my skills in teaching voice and piano lessons. I realised I need to get even better if I want to change people’s lives and improve the education system so I embarked on a master’s programme at Necmettin Erbakan University, Department of Educational Sciences. The best part of that is I qualified for the Erasmus+ Internship Program here in the UK. I’ve been teaching here for over 2 years, highly adapted multi-cultural education approaches. I’m keen on following well-thought-out lesson plans, developing authentic teaching materials and activities. I teach through visuals, games, songs, chants. And I incorporate real-world materials and technology in my lessons. I believe that as a teacher I must also keep on learning and improving myself. I have finished Jazz and Contemporary music studies in Lithuania. I have a Bachellors degree in Jazz performance and Masters degree in Contemporary music and Improvisation. I have been playing in and around Lithuania with various bands of various styles (includ. pop, rock, jazz, improv, ) and have recorded several studio albums. I have participated in jazz and blues festivals in Lithuania, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, France. I have been teaching private lessons for the past 5 years. My area of expertise is in jazz, funk, world music drumming and percussion. I can also teach basic techniques for Udu, Darbuka and various Frame drums

While Husnu Burak Gocer was taking classes under the direction of prestigious flute players Michele Marasco, Maurizio Valentini and Andrea Oliva at Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “Vecchi-Tonelli” (Modena), Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome), Accademia Pianistica (Imola), he participated to several masterclasses of world-renowned flute players like Sir James Galway, Emmanuel Pahud, Claudio Montafia, Raffaele Trevisani and many others. When he returned to his home in Turkey after obtaining master's degree in Italy in 2013, he made significant contributions to new established Trakya Chamber Orchestra's development, while he took role as the Soloist Flute Player of the orchestra.
