I have extensive gig, performance and teaching experience. I love teaching and customising lessons specifically to individual goals and needs.

I have played the violin for over 25 years taking part in both solo, ensemble and orchestral work and performances. I have been teaching for 17 years and teach a range of different styles and genres. I have many years of success in tutoring students through both ABRSM and Trinity Music exams and supplement lessons of those studying for practical exams with music theory. I also work with students on school entry exams, orchestral audition preparation and ensemble work where appropriate and am happy to arrange lessons working towards personal goals.

Extensive performing experience in various ensembles and settings (primarily classical). Instructed by notable members of the Atlanta, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras. Approximately 3 years of teaching experience. I have experience instructing and coaching players ranging from beginners all the way up to advanced level players.

Katrina Fox BSc (Hons), MA(Ed), DipABRSM (Disctinction) I have been teaching the piano for over 20 years and I have grown to love it more with each passing year. I remain committed to continuing to learn about new and exciting ways to teach.​As well as enjoying working with beginners and adults, I am passionate about helping intermediate and advanced students who may have reached a "slump" in their piano journey, to find new ways of connecting with music and revitalise their love for the piano.

Classical Piano, Violin

Hi, my name is Oscar and I have been teaching the Violin and Piano for 5 years, whilst also being a regular performer in Orchestra's, bands, String ensembles and as a soloist. I currently only teach in English, despite living in Berlin, but I hope to be able to offer lessons in German soon. I studied Violin performance at the Royal Northern College of music, and my qualifications include both a Bachelors degree and a Licentiate of Music. Whilst my musical upbringing and education was largely classical, I have developed a strong interest in multiple other genres of music. I run a Gypsy Jazz collective, and regularly play with both a Klezmer band and multiple different Celtic folk groups. This has given me a lot of insight into different styles of both learning and teaching, and it has meant that I feel confident providing students with lessons in improvisation and lessons learning by ear, as opposed to just from sheet music. My students range from age 4-70 and I teach people of all ages and abilities. The challenges that go with catering for different stylistic preferences keep my job interesting, fresh and engaging, and I really enjoy watching my students progress and find their voice. I don't have a one size fits all teaching approach, and I find that students stay engaged when they are able to pursue their specific interests. I have been performing and teaching saxophone for 20+ years. I have a Masters Degree in Jazz from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and was The Mayoral Ambassador of Music for the City of Bristol UK 2014-2016. I have toured internationally as session musician for many years and also have enjoyed teaching in a variety of situations including 1 on 1, filmed masters classes, visiting professor at music colleges, primary/ secondary schools as well as workshops for children with behavioural challenges. I feel I am good communicator and sensitive to the needs and requirements of students in any given situation.

I give classical piano lessons aimed to achieve solid and professional skills to everyone who wants to start. Every student is different from others so my work is based on the single student.

Pop Vocals, Classical Piano

I am a pianist, composer, and musicologist originally from California and residing in The Netherlands. I hold a Master of Music in Composition from Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg, a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Musicology from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Arts double major in Music (piano performance and musicology) and Italian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. During this time, I studied with Richard Taruskin and Nicholas Mathew, among others. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I studied for two years privately with prominent Bay Area pianist, Diane Hidy. I currently play piano in the contemporary music trio No Piece of Wood, with Sjors van der Mark on electric guitar and Hanna van Rooijen, soprano. With this trio, I perform, among other contemporary repertoire, my own music. In addition to composing for my own ensemble, I have composed for soloists Ralph van Raat, Vincent van Amsterdam, Niek Baar, Maya Fridman, and Tom Sanderman, among others. I have also composed pieces for the Merced Symphony Orchestra in California, the Euregio Jeugdorkest, November Music Festival, the Nationale Opera Studio, and the Opera Forward Festival (2020) in Amsterdam. In May 2020, I initiated the project Music for Empty Spaces, in which 12 composers (including myself) wrote 12 pieces for 12 solo musicians, all reflecting on the corona crisis. The event was live-streamed by NPO Radio 4 from an empty Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam. While at UC Berkeley, I studied piano with Jacqueline Chew and Debora Petrina. I also spent a year in a full-immersion Italian language study abroad program at L’Universita’ degli studi di Padova, in Padua, Italy. I have participated in masterclasses with prominent fortepianists Malcolm Bilson, Bart van Oort, and Geoffrey Govier, as well as with leading modern piano accompanist Malcolm Martineau. In 2014, I participated in a summer chamber music workshop at La Schola Cantorum in Paris. While there, I participated in masterclasses with Henri Gronnier, Simone Dinnerstein, and Roy Howat.

F.Murat Belli concert artist and freelance guitar instructor with almost 12 years of experience in teaching guitar both for individuals and groups in all ages. CLASSICAL GUITAR - FINGERSTYLE - ACOUSTIC GUITAR Belli who was born in İstanbul in 1987,started music while he was at secondary school by taking solfege guitar and piano lessons from Mustafa YILGÖR. He studied science and mathematics at high school and graduated from Suleyman Nazif High School but the interest he had about music dominated and he decided to study music at university. He was accepted to Yıldız Technical University, the Art and Design Faculty, Music and Performing Art Department, Classical Guitar branch as the student of Bülent ERGÜDEN in 2005. After the intensetive interdisciplinary art and music education he got, he was accepted to the Consevatorio di G.F. Ghedini classical guitar department in 2010. The young guitarist still going on his music studies in Italy, took place in several concerts and organizations both within the country and abroad. The most important ones are “coordinator assistantship at the Y.T.U. International Guitar Festival in 2007 and 2008”, “concert artistry at Y.T.U. International Guitar Festival in 2009, “concert artistry at The National Guitar Meeting at Bilkent University in 2010” and “concert artistry at IP Project Cuneo in 2010”. On the other hand, Belli worked in ASEM The School of Music and Tuğrul San The School of Music as the teacher of guitar. The masterclasses he got with worlwide known musicians such as Maurizio COLONNA , Carlo MARCIONE , Frank BUNGARTEN , Cem DURUOZ , Robert BARTO ve Nora BUSCHMANN have an important role in the view of his musical and artistic development.
